Our House: Welcome!! 3 bed 2bath includes two queen beds, one full bed, plus full fold out sofa bed. There is also another sectional sofa that does not pull out.
In our waterfront home you wont find any stairs, the easiest walk to the lake is right in the back yard! We love that our yard runs straight into Lake Barkley with very little slope and is one of the few lots without a single stair to our private dock. Come enjoy our peaceful deck as you listen to the wild life around you and watch the boats go by. We are frequently visited by deer, squirrels, and lots of hummingbirds! The house offers a fully stocked kitchen, along with a Keurig coffee maker bar that brews a full pot or K-cups if needed. Ample parking on our private drive gets you right to the homes front door. Towels, cloths, and soap are provided/beach towels are provided as well. Pets are allowed upon request, please let us know who is coming along and what breed and type they are. If you are bringing a boat, the marina is right around the corner of our cove where you can put it in. Eddycreek Marina is the name and they also are a full service marina with a restaurant. We are in a fairly shallow/calm cove where you can easily swim off the dock and fish with no wake but only a half mile from the main channel. Land Between the Lakes Recreation Area is close by and there are many restaurants on and off the water in the area. We hope you enjoy!

Peaceful Stay

Incredibly family friendly
Everything from checking in to checking out was easy and ready!! The property had tons of extra amenities which is always very helpful. The flatter land was perfect for families with children to play.

A lovely setting
We really enjoyed this place. We appreciated the gentle slope to the water and that it was easy to swim off the dock. The owner had thought of many little touches that made our stay more pleasant like lots of drawers and hooks, and it has better showers than many rentals. We also appreciated that the internet was very good. We would definitely like to stay here again!

Great stay
We loved everything about our stay. The place was cozy and planty of space for 6 adults. The house is right on the lake with awesome views. There was a storm on our first day so we delayed our arrival to the next day. Owner was communicating with us the whole time and allowed us to stay as long as we wanted on our last day. Great stay and hopefully we'll go back soon.

Lovely, quiet home
Very spacious, well-stocked, clean, and quiet. Was a great first-time VRBO experience! The property owner was kind and made sure everything was in order. Would highly recommend!! It was a perfect place for us to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It was close enough to the things we wanted to see and do, and far enough away to avoid any congestion.

Little Getaway

A perfect home and scenery
This home is exactly as described plus much more. Furnished well including many additional kitchen appliances. The beds and linens were very nice. The back porch is the most relaxing place to be to watch the fish jump or listen to the many birds sing. You’re very close to the Eddy Creek marina for boating needs.

Great vacation on Kentucky lake.
Property very well maintained. Beautiful deck and great view to the lake. My family caught fish for the first time in 6 years so all were happy. Narrow roads getting to the property which is nothing to do with the owner. But still a concern for nervous people.

New Year's Celebration
Our tradition before we sold our own vacation home was to spend New Year's at our place. So we looked for something similar. Clean and perfectly located for enjoying outdoors recreation. The only negative was I wanted a place to fish from the property as advertised with a dock for fishing and to keep a boat in. However, winter water level found the dock pretty much high and dry.

If you are tied to your devices this place is not for you the internet and tv situation was bad, but that is the only complaint I had. The home was beautiful and clean. The area is very quiet and wildlife abundant.We loved having the private dock for the boat. The owner of property was always available to answer questions and tried repeatedly to help with wifi problem I'm just not sure the area is acceptable to wifi. The lake is huge and beautiful we booked a guided fishing trip and caught more than 40 fish thank you crappiegillsand more .

Tranquil
Although we had less than perfect weather, we all had a great time here. The house is plenty big to give everyone space. 2 living rooms, 2 tables to eat at (one is the perfect height for doing jigsaw puzzles!), 2 fridges and microwaves. The view from the covered deck is so serene. We saw eagles, herons, woodpeckers and more. Our host, Henry, was fantastic in responding to any needs. The power was out when we arrived, due to a storm that had just gone through. He offered to have us go to his other property if we wanted. We waited a bit and the power came back on. But it was really nice to know we didn't have to be without power all night. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend! If we ever find ourselves in need of a place to stay in this area I would rent it again.

Wonderful week at the lake
The property was as described. The driveway into the property was much steeper than we expected and a bit of a challenge for the boat trailer. There is a turn around at the end of the road which we used later so that we could back down the driveway (external observer recommended). Henry had ATT fiber internet service installed a week before and it worked great with multiple devices attached to the wifi! The cell phone signal was weak. We have Verizon. We could send/receive texts from inside the house (although that may have been via the wifi internet). Some calls rang in and folks stepped out and were able to talk on the driveway. All in all, we found the cell phone service to be workable. Launching the boat was convenient. While the ramp is at a private marina, there is no fee and the ramp is always open. The folks at the marina were friendly and shared lots of information about the lake. Grocery shopping was done at the Walmart, about 15-20 minute drive. We ordered pickup from a couple of restaurants in Eddyville. La Pinata, a Mexican restaurant, had great food and did a wonderful job labeling the meals for 10 people. We ordered BBQ from The Joint and it was excellent! My son-in-law, a native of Kansas City, declared the ribs to the best he ever had. The grandchildren enjoyed catching panfish and catfish from the dock. They also saw deer in the morning and evening. We had a great week. Recommended location.

Weekend on Lake
The property owner was very gracious when we contacted him for questions. The home is spacious and well kept. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching wildlife. Eight deer visited the first night we stayed. We would rent again from this owner. Thank you
