"Amazing place. Really clean and quiet. I loved everything, including the puppy that lives there! Would definitely come back. The main avenue was really close to Lava House, so you can come and go as you please and it just takes a couple minutes to reach the main bay. Overall I had a great experience with this place."

"Ariana’s is excellent to stay in. The beds are super comfortable, the view from the kitchen area is great, the air conditioning worked great. Across the street is undeveloped land so we saw several new birds. It is a little over a mile to the harbor so if that’s more of a walk than you’d like, taxis are everywhere. All kinds of stores are within 2-3 blocks. We loved the neighborhood. "

"Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury."

"I did not like the area. I did not like that the doors were always closed, that there was a slight gap in the blinds so people could look into my room. It took the lady an hour to find my reservation. There was always loud music playing late at night and sometimes the owner’s kid would cry a lot."

"Everything was perfectly fine. The staff didn't speak English, as is common in Ecuador, but using Google Translate worked fine. The property is just around the corner from the Planetario, which was worth the quick trip. It is within a 15-minute walk from the Cathedral. "It was quiet area. I was unable to contact host on arrival, it is an out of way location, quite stressful. It worked out but id suggest a sign at gate so guest knows they are in right place, plus an intercom or bell. I went in order to have a quiet place, it definitely delivered. The view was really great. The distance from food and shops was far. With no fridge, microwave or coffeemaker, options were limited.
