"We arrived at the cottage in the afternoon, we were greeted by the hosts, given a walk through and were fishing with in an hour of our arrival. Gord and Lori Ann were extremely helpful and great to deal with. We even got a few fishing tips, to help get us started. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. We are already planning our next trip up! Such a beautiful area.. "

"Loved our experience staying here and exploring the Soo. Had all the amenities and even had a few extras we were not expecting. I was able to view the aurora borealis from the back yard during our stay as well and this became an even more special experience for us. Thank you for hosting and highly recommend. "

"The property was exactly as advertised and working with Greg was great. Only minor issue was miscommunication for check-in but resolved in just a few minutes. There was plenty of space to spread out for a family of 5 and lots of space to lay-out gear to dry each night. Neighbors were friendly and the location is easy to get to skiing/downtown and from the border. "

"Kristy’s home is beautiful! Ample bedrooms for 10 that includes a cool bunkie with bar and shuffleboard. The house is nicely appointed with pots, pans etc. Very spacious with lots of room in the kitchen and living room to hang out. The screen room off the kitchen was my favourite. Great view and screened to keep the bugs away. The view is wonderful and the property has a relatively long private sand beach that is awesome for swimming, relaxing, launching a paddle-board or kayak. I’m sure...

"My mom and I stayed during our visit to Sault Ste. Marie for my daughter’s wedding. The house was a perfect place to come, and relax after some wedding prep. We used the kitchen to prep some goodies for the reception, and there was plenty of room. Everything was in great, working order! We did contact Althea since we had a little trouble signing on to the WiFi, but she was quick to respond. As stated in other reviews, the street was busy, but not horrible. "The on-and-off hot water issue was unexpected."

"Everything was as it should be- sort of.. This place sleeps up to 8 but only 2 can sit to together for meals....The NEST thermostat was problematic, never allowing cool nights for sleep. The location is ideal for accessing HWY17 north out of town and close to retail chains and restaurants."
