"Fabulous location on the royal mile with onsite parking at a reasonable price. Reception staff were fantastic, and our room was comfortable, a good size and had everything we needed. Didn’t use the bar and hadn’t booked for breakfast as it’s so close to many coffee shops. We got a good price as booked out of season and couldn’t fault the hotel. Would definitely choose this place again over other places we’ve stayed at in Edinburgh. "

"Market Street hotel takes every detail of making your experience there seriously. The rooms are nearly soundproof, they have all the amenities. Also close to the AirLink bus stop to and from the Airport. I had a wonderful stay as a solo female traveler and would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you to everyone who made my stay unforgettable. "Lovely stay at the Delta Marriott. Very friendly staff, great spacious room, lovely evening meal in the bar and a good breakfast in the morning. "

"Loved the stay, but some things you should know before staying. Check in is at 3 and no earlier. Myself and many others were turned away until exactly 3. The shower and toilet are one. So it can get swampy if you don’t get into the shower right away. Bring a Roku or Fire stick."

"Was fine. A very nice 4- 5 star International quality hotel in a great location. The only downside: we arrived 2 hours after check in time, and the room still wasnt ready. Though they put is in the lounge with FOC drinks, it was still a further 2 hours before it was ready. Reason given: the hotel was overbooked. Sorry but i dont regard that as acceptable. That is an organisational issue on the hotels' part and if circumstances of our trip had been different, could have been a real problem. "

"Check in was fantastic, however bar service is painfully slow, with bar staff serving people that have just arrived at the bar whilst I was stood for about 5 minutes. Woken up this morning (Sunday) at 650am to load music playing for about an hour too. Didn’t think that this hotel would allow that sort of thing to happen. "

"The property was wonderful. Nothing fancy but, quaint and quiet. The staff are lovely despite minimal interaction. The room I stayed in, (family quarters) was lovely. Although a the bathroom was a little small and the cupboard door doesn’t fully shut, it was exactly what I needed. Tea and coffee was provided, which was lovely. The property is located 20 minutes away from Waverley Station and roughly 40 minutes away from Edinburgh Castle, by means of walking. Good pricing in addition to...

"I paid in full by debit card when I checked in, the payment was approved, but I was still charged a deposit of £60, which shouldn't have been necessary. And now I have to wait for a refund. I have never been charged a deposit by other hotels when paying in advance. "
