"Overall considering Brussels high prices this is a good value option, with some issues. The main ones being their check-in and checkouts policy. They only allow you to check-in very late and if you want to actually meet somebody within a tight 2 hour window. I think they might have the option to check in without concierge but that's a risk and I have had bad experiences in the past with other properties. Facilities are a bit dated especially the bathroom and bed had a mattress too thin and soft...

"Excellent accommodations. The house is one of Brussels oldest standing houses and has an interesting past which is seen throughout the house. The location is perfect; short walking distance to the main square in old town and not to far from subways. Marc the owner is amazing; goes above and beyond to insure you have a great stay. "Would avoid staying at this place. There was no hot water. The living area had terrible seats (2 very uncomfortable wooden seats). There was no doors in the place - not even on the bathroom! Contact was impossible with those in charge. "

"Je n'ai pas pu acceder a ma reservation car la chambre d'hotes n'existait plus, j'ai fait 800km et quand je suis arrivée à l'adresse indiquée, le logement etait abandonné, les voisins m'ont confirmé que les proprietaires avaient vider la maison. J'ai trouvé un hotel en urgence."

"I stayed there with my family (two kids). It was very clean and comfortable. There were also a lot of toys and games (Super Nintendo etc.) which was very nice and practical. There was also a park nearby and you have a little garden in front of the apartment. It's a quiet and safe space. The host was very nice. I would recommend the accommodation."

"Estuvimos tres días, el hotel estuvo bien, aunque inicialmente tuvimos dificultad con la entrega de la clave de ingreso pero se solucionó. Mejoraría la ventilación del baño ."

"I rarely share my reviews on Expedia but I would say I really like this accomodation. The staff were super friendly and the room was spacious and well equipped. Enjoyed a really comfortable stay here. There are workshops in the hotel occasionally which makes the hotel even more lively. :) The only limitation I can think of is that there are only limited restaurants/shops near the hotel so you will need to go back to the city centre."

"Whenever I get a chance, I always stay at this hotel with the family when we come to visit my mother-in-law. It is located in the vibrant area of the city, close to everything we like in Brussels. The rooms are spacious, clean and beds are comfortable. The staff at the reception is friendly, helpful and super professional."

"The Alma Grande Place is perfectly situated in the heart of Brussels. Our hotel room was fantastic; it was large and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was not great, but other options were very close by. We hope to stay at the Alma Grande Place again!"

Fantastic stay

"First class hotel. Room very clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Amazing view of the city from both the lounge and room. Staff amazing so courteous helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic the best buffet breakfast I have ever had in Europe. The restaurant again the same as breakfast was amazing. Hospitality is clearly something this hotel staff want to provide to their guest and I will definitely stay here again as my only hotel choice for Brussels "

Great city center option, safe for solo travelers

"The staff was very friendly and the location of this hotel is 10/10. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Can hear some noise from room, but I’ve found this pretty typical with most places I’ve stayed in Europe so it wasn’t bothersome. Full size bed and en suite bathroom were great, and the bed was topped with one of the comfiest blankets I’ve ever slept with. Pillows are a bit small but overall a great stay and fabulous location! There is also a cute cat on the property but he is skiddish lol "
