"Beautiful location with stunning views from the rooms, lodge and the pool. We had a lovely, peaceful day and night here with an excellent evening meal. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is run by a lovely French couple. They were extremely nice, interacted with guests quite a bit and even got us a baby bath tube for our baby to be able to have a shower. Having said that, there are a few items which could easily be fixed and which would make anyone's stay better. Firstly, the room was just dirty. "Decided to book L'Exil lodge for Valentines day. If your driving very low car, I would strongly recommend leaving the car in the car park, and take the shuttle directly to the hotel, as the road is very bad to get there. The place its absolutely beautiful, the near by waterfall its a must to see, as it only takes 10-15 min walk. The staff is very polite and helpful. "We stay in this hotel for 3 days. We have changed 3 cottage in 3 days. There was no porter service to carry luggage in the room. Frist they put us in a dark villa with so many room which we did not like. Then we change to other cottage where the safe was not working. There was no one to fix it, in the morning there was no water. Then we have to change to other other cottage. Please review this hotel whatever you see on the webside it is not the same. "The tent was good, the lunch and dinner were good but the breakfast was poor. We were disappointed with the bed sheets that were not clean, and we were in bad luck with electricity issue it was switching off everyday at 6 am and we should walk all the way down to find someone to fix it, hope they are fixed now. The staff wre very friendly."

"Herman the owner was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and was really understanding of his guests. Lovely pools here too and the central courtyard allows meeting of other guests which is nice on holiday"

"The flats are next to a very busy road with morning and evening heavy traffic and next to three discos with a lot of weekend night actions and noise. The flats are spacy and awere nicely build but meanwhile lack repair and maintenance and thus appear to be rundown."

The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa, Mauritius

"Where do i start. They took me around in golf carts so i dont have to walk in the sun and heat, they had the best staff team ive met in all my life, the food was amazing not a single thing to complain about. The hotel was clean, cool and there was lots of things to do. I was helped mostly by Yash, Rajvir, Sarvesh, Atish, Ben, avi and the house keeping lady. The hotel had a games room and snooker room that i used every night, entertainment every night at the retreat, bar open all day and night and coconut stall. The spa and massage was amazing, quite expensive but was amazing. I did not walk past a single staff member without them greeting me in such a kind way and bowing their heads. I truly felt like i owned the place. The two pools were the perfect temperature at all times and were very clean. Some of the people that stayed at the hotel were very rude to the staff members and i really feel bad they received this treatment. Overall, the hotel was the best hotel ive stayed at with the most friendliest staff ever. The hospitality is unmatched. You will not regret a single thing about booking this hotel. Thank you"

Excellent stay

"Everything was excellent at the hotel. Only negative was we booked a double and a twin but were given two twins. The reception staff did not seem to take any ownership or action to rectify this. Surely the number of rooms available of each type were incorrectly supplied to hotels.com. We were just made to feel unreasonable wanting the double and that this situation possibly occurs quite often."
