Welcome Home. Stay on a private lake with excellent fishing and a sandy bottom for swimming!! Very secluded feel, but conveniently close to all the Sister Lake amenities. The home features a new renovated open concept kitchen and livingroom, with brand new stainless steel appliances, kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops. The kitchen comes stocked with all the amenities of home, which also includes a coffee pot, 4 place toaster, crock pot and more. The breakfast bar is a great place to watch TV or extra seating at meal time. The livingroom is freshly remodeled and ready to entertain, with new furniture that provides plenty of seating. There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed with its' own full bathroom. The second bedroom features a king bed and couch, the third bedroom features a queen bed and bunk beds that is a single bed on top and a double on the bottom. The garage and game room door opens and is screened in plus it provides an awesome view of the lake. There is an extra stainless steel refrigerator in the garage for extra food and drinks. There is a bar and plenty of places to lounge around and also play games. Enjoy a campfire on the beach side and the sandy beach area. Your children will love the play set and toys. Everything is brand new with top quality linens and furnishings. We just installed brand new carpet throughout the home. You won't want to miss out on staying here for your vacation. Pontoon and Kayaks are included with your booking. Brand new high speed wireless WiFi. We are set up primarily for a family get away. No parties please. Pets must be kept on leash when outside. Things to do year round in our area: Snowmobiling, Skiing, Snowboarding, Ice fishing, fishing, Ice Skating, Pumpkin Patches, Hay rides, apple, peach, blueberry, cherry picking, organic veggie and fruit stands, Array of local bakeries, restaurants, and neat local shops that are open year round, Casinos are close by too as well as wine tours.

Lovely vacation
We had a very nice time staying here!! There was plenty of space, the beds were comfortable. we loved the pool table in the garage, the kayaks and the boat! The only thing wrong was the sandy beach, which I already talked to the owner and they'll fix it. The pictures with the kayaks is your sandy beach area not the pictures at the end of a beach with the bird.

Guys weekend
Had a great time with my brother and our two adult nephews. Place was as described and had lots of fun things to do. Pontoon was awesome, the garage turned into a man cave/game room was where we spent most of our time. Would absolutely stay again!

This was our second time staying at this house and it was great. Only thing worth mentioning is the pontoon boat pictured is different from the pontoon boat on site. But all in all, access to the boat was our favorite part of the trip. The kids enjoyed the boat and the swimmable lake.

Beautiful cottage
We had a very quiet and relaxing weekend. Kids swam and played in the lake. Adults fished and hung-out by the fire. Property has a nice size yard, pantoon and kayaks, which we used. This is our second time renting the cabin. We will definitelly come back.

Perfect Family vacation for our family
Our family enjoyed our vacation here very much. Everything was as expected. The house is spacious and clean. The yard is well kept. We used the pontoon boat that was included with the stay and it worked out great for us. The owner was very nice and responsive to my texts. After reading the reviews, we brought plenty of drinking water with us. Also, It’s only about 25 minutes drive to St. Joseph pier so we were able to visit the lighthouses and the beach during our stay. Overall, it was a perfect place for our family vacation and we would definitely book here again.

Nice quiet getaway
This was a great little home on a quiet lake that allowed us to have some quality time together as a family, have some activities to do together, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The host communication was great and they were flexible. The only pitfall was a significant odor from the water--it made it difficult to shower/feel clean, which is why overall rating is 4 stars. Would definitely stay here again if the water situation is rectified. Thanks!

Peaceful Getaway
The house was as advertised. Nestled on a beautiful private lake, it was a peaceful place to return to after a day of activities. The lay out was perfect for myself, daughter, son in law , and 2 grandkids ages 1&3. The Blue Stair Beach in South Haven was a family favorite with the littles. Silver Lake in St. Joseph was a wonderful find ! Very family friendly with the beach, a water feature , and a carousel. So much to explore in the future. The pontoon boat that comes with the house was a wonderful bonus for fishing or just taking a relaxing ride around the lake. We would definitely consider this house again.

Great house, septic issues, rude owner
The house and lake are amazing. The property had septic leakage in the front yard that was impossible to avoid walking in. Prior to arrival our communication with the owner was great - but after asking the owners to check on the saftey of the property after a big storm the owners were totally unprofessional. I'd love to recommend this property ... but I don't.

Nice Getaway weekend
We stayed for 3 nights. 4 adults and 1 child. Plenty of room for our family getaway weekend. The home was clean and comfortable. The Pontoon was a super plus which we used each day. The biggest plus was the fishing was superb. My 11 year old nephew was thrilled with the results. Many bass and bluegill were caught and released. Spent hours fishing. The pictures weren't totally clear, but the pontoon and lake is across the street from the front of the house, which is a very short walk, but didn't know til we got email re same a couple of days before our trip. Very peaceful and enjoyable weekend. I would recommend.

Nice long weekend
My husband and daughters and I stayed at this property over Memorial Day weekend and it worked out fine. The yard is lovely with a wonderful firepit. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evening. The lake was very small and quiet but nice. We took the fishing boat out a couple of times (the pontoon was also available but it was covered in cobwebs and, frankly, we were afraid to use it as it looked so decrepit). The house was fine- it served its purpose. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the pool table. Everything was very run down (the screens are falling off the doors, the water ekes out of the faucet and there is no dishwasher, there is a lot of rust in the bathrooms, even the can opener barely worked) but we didn't need anything fancy so it was fine. Overall, we had a nice time.

All was great including the use of the pontoon boat. Couldn’t catch a darn fish until we finally found the right bait. I will do future guests a favor: chatter baits. Caught three bass using them the final night. You can thank me later :) Great place!!!

House by the lake
The inside was very nice and updated but the outside was a little rough. The access to the electric pontoon was fun along with the kayaks. We had a couple of bon fires and we enjoyed playing pool in the game room. The owner was very hospitable letting us use his fishing rod and showing us how to use the boat and answering more of our questions. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Peaceful pond oasis.
This is a very warm and welcoming house with every necessity and every luxury you could want. The coal grill was awesome, the pontoon boat was really great, and there’s everything you could need for cooking. The gaming room with pool table kept us entertained as well. We had a very out of the ordinary circumstance happen. The way the host reacted was gracious. They let us stay in the unit, although they had every right to ask us to leave. This is a really great empathetic host who will make sure and guarantee that you and your family will have an enjoyable time in their beautiful home.

Quiet lake property
Wonderful property with everything you'll need for a quiet, relaxing, safe, stay. Well maintained home and lake lot. Enjoy the small, private lake with less than ten other houses on it. Owners made themselves very available and ensured we knew how to use the pontoon safely.

Beautiful, clean property with a great location. Approximately 10 minutes from Sister Lakes for dinning and Driftwood ice cream. Everything you might need is supplied at this house. We will be booking again!

Family Vacation in the Country
My husband and I, our son, daughter in law & 2 grandchildren, ages 3 & 7, greatly enjoyed our stay in Eau Claire and the house on Jarvis Lane. Many meals were cooked & eaten in the updated kitchen with new cookware & dishes. Numerous fish were caught in the lake & many memories made. The garage-game room was enjoyed by all. Thanks for supplying everything needed to function besides food. We have never rented a better stocked home. The location is convenient to local restaurants & not too far from Lake Michigan beaches. We have already talked about a return trip.

Home is very nice. Beds comfortable. Many amenities like paper towels, food bags, body and hand soaps, shampoo, dish soap. Provided charcoal and starter. Quiet location. Boat was a nice asset. Used it to swim and fish from. Nice appliances. Would consider coming back.
