Family getaway
This house had everything we could ever think of asking for in a vacation property. It didn’t feel like we were just staying at a house but that we were at a lodge resort. It was very spacious and a great location.

Reunited once again
A beautiful setting, looking out on the water and mountains. The home was perfect for the 3 couples, all having king beds & bathrooms. The deck was so peaceful, looking out at the extraordinary scenery.

Amazing property!
Three nights was not enough time to enjoy all the features of this home, but we did our best! Hot tub, movie room, pub room with pool table, dart board, karaoke machine, player piano, lovely deck with water view, giant outdoor chess, kitchen with every appliance known to man (and some I had never heard of) …the list goes on. Plenty of sleeping spaces for a large party. Outdoor teepee is fun but a bit damp and moldy in rainy season. Would love to come back and stay for longer.

Pictures don’t do this home justice! I could have stayed here for months! The home is well equipped…. The kitchen is better than my own! The entertainment features are amazing and the view is stunning. I can’t wait to come back!

Awesome vacation. Location is so close to state parks and numerous hiking trails. Views from the rear deck are spectacular. The cabin was very well equipped with everything you could possibly think of or ever need is there. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen we have ever seen. This was a great vacation in a beautiful cabin.

Paradise!
We stay in multiple vacation rentals every year, and this home had the best and most plentiful amenities of any we have stayed in. The view is spectacular and the deck is a wonderful way to enjoy East Sound and the beautiful sunsets. Our pre-teens enjoyed the pool table and old-school Atari machine, and our three year-old appreciated the games and toys. We loved the home theater - what a treat! Proximity to Moran State Park made hiking and kayaking at Cascade Lake a breeze. We appreciated having two sets of laundry machines, plentiful housewares like towels and soap, and a very well-stocked kitchen. We loved every minute at this special home.

A great stay!
We rented this place for my 50th birthday. We wanted something for a few friends to get together and spend a weekend. This place worked perfect! The place has alot of amenities and plenty to do. The bedrooms are all good size and there are plenty of bathrooms. All in all we had a great time and definitely would recommend. We will be back.

Perfect House in Orcas for Families!
I cannot recommend this house enough! We had 2 families (9 peple total) stay there and it was the perfect spot. The House: There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space while also enjoy the privacy of their own bedrooms. It was an extremely well equipped kitchen/pantry with every appliance you could even need and was perfectly organized. Also had 2 washers and 2 dryers which was amazing for 2 families. The house is also absolutley perfect for kids. It has a jacuzzi, theater, lots of board games and a pub that includes a billards table, darts, video games, and karaoke. The kids were entertained the entire time which allowed the adults to enjoy time sitting on the massive back deck with a stunning view of the water. Location: The location could not be better, a less than 10 minute drive downtown or the other direction to Moran State Park and Cascade Lake for swimming, hiking, kayaking and paddleboarding. Overall: Overall I highly recommend this house and will definitely be renting it again for our next Orcas vacation!

Perfect!
The photos do not do this house justice. They cannot convey the peace that you feel, sitting on the deck in the early morning, surrounded by the evergreen's and in the evening watching the never ending color show, as the sun set. It was the most stocked kitchen of all the rentals we’ve been in, in over 10 years! My grandsons loved the video games, outdoor chess game, pool table and the home theater! Orcas Island is beautiful! We kayaked and jumped off of the bridge in Moran State Park, had ice cream while sitting in the shade by the lake with our 5 month old granddaughter, and soaked in the 360 view on Mt. Constitution. The whale watching trip was worth it, even if we hadn’t seen the whales. Seeing the San Juan Islands from the boat, was the perfect way to spend a gorgeous day! The little town of East Sound, overflows with flowers and charm. The property manager was amazing! He answered our texts immediately! The nine of us, ages 67- 5 months, will absolutely be back!

Relaxing on Orcas
Location and house was great. We discovered dishwasher didn't work when we arrived, , WiFi didn't work after Tuesday, and vaccumm hose was severed so it didn't work. Otherwise house was well stocked. Tried to send message to Bianca but email listed didn't work so called her about dishwasher on monday. And daughter left a message about WiFi but never heard back.

Perfect Family Retreat!
Our family of seven adults had a great time gathering for a relaxing Thanksgiving celebration at this lovely lodge. Everything we needed (and more) was awaiting us and we truly appreciated the cozy and well-appointed setting.

Lovely rental
Wonderful property with tons of offerings. The left side of the stove range was the only thing that didn't work during our stay, everything else was great! Fabulous location, tons of space, great views from the large deck. Lots of large windows provide plenty of natural light during day, but at night the bedrooms are quite dark due to lack of lighting. Light sleepers should bring earplugs...no soundproofing between floors/rooms! Teepee is musty. Ample room for cooking and hanging out throughout property. Theatre seating is fantastically comfortable and fun for whole family. Kind amenities offered throughout. Gorgeous sunset views from the hot tub.

Private, comfortable, spacious home.
The ten family members, 10-79, thoroughly enjoyed this lovely vacation home. Beautiful views of East Sound and amazing sun sets over Vancouver Island. A family of deer grazed and rested by the outdoor chess set. The home is convenient to Moran State Park and the village of East Sound. The owners have provided hundreds of DVDs in the theater room, a smart TV in the living room and others in bedrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped with every appliance imaginable, plus a smoker, Weber Grill and standard appliances. The huge deck overlooking the sound has seating for 10 at 2 tables. Dining room table also accommodates 10. The beds and bedding are excellent. A hot tub and beautiful water feature greet guests as they arrive. The driveway accommodates 2 cars near the front door with another 2 parking spots just up the hill near the road. . Bianca snd Jason take guests’ comfort seriously and respond quickly to anything the guest needs. We’d all vote 6 stars if we could

Beautiful view
Pros:The location and view were wonderful. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. Kitchen gadgets in abundance. Layout of home allowed everyone space to spread out. Cons:The house decor lacks cohesiveness. We felt it was a mishmash of styles and leftover furniture. Bedding and linens could use a refresh. Lower level very musty to the point of not being able to use it. Overall, it's completely adequate for a gathering of friends/family. If you are looking for a good base for island exploration, this is it. If you are use to higher end vacation homes and luxury touches you will be disappointed.

This home is absolutely wonderful! Communication with the owner is easy and she is very gracious. The location is easily accessible, safe, and clean. The amenities on-site are exceptional. We have rented a ton of homes and this was by far the best.

Serene relaxation on the slopes of Mount Constitution
This is our second stay at Timber Lodge, and we really enjoy the property. Very quiet and relaxing, with lovely views of Eastsound, Turtleback, and Vancouver Island beyond. Kitchen and common rooms are well apportioned, and the bedrooms are quiet and comfy. Hot tub is under the eaves, making is impervious to the weather. This is a great rental location and one of the few really outstanding places available on Orcas at the moment.

50th retreat
I rented this house for my birthday, invited my best girl friends & enjoyed a relaxing vacation. We prepared all our meals & had everything we needed plus more we never used. Appliances galore. The view never disappoints. Hot tub & movie room were a fun bonus.

Home away from home
What an incredible place to stay! The kitchen is oversupplied with cooking utensils! The bedrooms were very roomy and spread out! Great nights of sleep for all of us! So much to do there…. Play games, play pool, sing to karaoke, hot tub, ….. we did it all! (We were too busy to use the theater room!) Moran State Park is SO close! The trails were great…. Some of the group even hiked up to Mt Constitution where the snow was up to their knees! But getting to the top and seeing the view was worth it! Cascade Falls we’re beautiful this time of year! Hope to come back again, someday. It was the perfect getaway for our family! Thanks Bianca!
