Charming, studio apartment with large deck, breath-taking views of the shipping lanes and Canada. The views don't stop at night--we have star gazing galore on a clear nite. And you can see the lights of Vancouver from the deck.

Gorgeous Views
We had a lovely stay at the Robin Song Studio - all the other reviews that state the pictures don't adequately represent the view are true. The views are breathtaking, and the studio was clean, comfortable, peaceful, and private. We would absolutely stay here again, and Vicki and Dan are marvelous hosts!

The weather did not cooperate. Beautiful perch. Lighting a bit dim. Basically a large room w a loft and a great deck. With rain we were confined and could not fully appreciate an amazing view. It does sleep 3 but one adult needs to be up and 8 ft latter w minimal privacy. Host was helpful.

Very clean, comfortable, quiet efficiency apartment with exceptional views from the room and balcony. Short but steep drive into East Sound, which has most of the restaurants and other services on Orcas Island.

July 4th at Orcas
My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights over the 4th of July. Great experience. Hosts are very friendly. Property was clean and has beautiful views. Driveway is very steep, but you get used to it after a few trips up and down

Lovely studio with an amazing view
The view here is amazing! Photos nearly do not do enough justice. The place is well equipped with pretty much anything you could need including a gas grill. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Stay on Orcas Island
Lovely, clean little studio with million dollar views. Robin Song is a great get away with all the basics for an island stay. The semi-private deck offers some of the best views we saw on the island. Vicki is a wonderful host who made sure all the details were in place and that we had what we needed. Perfect for a couple looking to relax for a few days.

Very Relaxing
The studio is very comfortable, well equipped and the view from the deck is exceptional. We could not have been happier with the set up. Be aware the access road is very steep and there are two flights of steps to the door.

Lovely Retreat
My husband and I spent two nights in this lovely, secluded retreat. I appreciated that it had it's own private entrance and deck, washer and dryer, flower pots galore with blooming flowers and large windows with an incredible view. The furnishings and artistic decor create a comfy and calming ambiance that I wish I could repeat in my own home. Great hosts who were very responsive concerning any needs and obviously work hard to keep the place scrupulously clean. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back!

5-Star Views!
We really enjoyed our stay at Bird Song! We had a couple days of rain and wind but we just hunkered down and enjoyed the views from inside. Even though the suite is attached to the main house it felt very private with our own entrance and deck area. We enjoyed great restaurants, cafes, shopping, hiking and wine tasting during our 4 day stay. Vicki even shared her garden with us so we got to pick some apples and tomatoes and beets for one of our dinners in (with take out pizza from Hogstone) We will definitely stay at Bird Song again!

Clean, well maintained, quiet, with awesome view...
Vicki was an exceptional host. She met us at the property, gave us an orientation of the area, and invited us to contact her anytime during our stay with questions, concerns, and/or needs. The room had lots of info about the area as far as food, activities, etc. We loved the studio. It met our needs perfectly. The new deck has amazing views with plenty of privacy. I would recommend this property to friends and relatives without hesitation. We can't wait to return.

Best Weekend Retreat ever!
The pictures just don’t do it justice. Dan and Vicki have thought of everything and had everything you need in a little bungalow tucked away in the woods with a view straight up the Strait. We went out for a couple bites and some fresh air, but mostly it was cooking in and lounging on the amazing deck or even taking in the views from the room/bed. I don’t know about walking to town like others have said.. but then I’m not much of a hiker :). I think the hill would have killed me. But just a couple minute drive for sure. Thank you so much for having us!!

Spectacular place to stay
What a stunning view from this property! It was a clear beautiful day so we could see everything in the sound. Vicki was so kind and accommodating! We were going to get in on a late ferry and she wanted to meet us at a nearby gas station to show us the way to the property. We actually got in early and had no problem finding the place using her directions. She was warm and welcoming, pointed out all the beautiful sites to us as well as things to do around the island. The property was spacious, clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable and the unit was well equipped with everything we expected. We had a lovely stay on Orcas Island. I would stay here again. Thank You!

Perfect for Two
This cute cottage-like rental was perfect for my husband and me. We spent most of our time there on the deck, enjoying the morning fresh air or the spectacularly beautiful sunsets. Whether we were drinking coffee, tea, or a spirited beverage, the adirondack chairs were the right fit. As most people have stated, Vicki was extremely pleasant in introducing us to the island, providing us with cinnamon bread, which I made into French Toast with the cream and eggs she gave us. We visited several of her favorite restaurants and were not disappointed. The only improvement that I would recommend is a firmer mattress, as my husband felt as though he was rolling into the center of the bed. Other than that, I would definitely recommend a stay at Robin Song Retreat.

Beautiful home, great views, steep hill!
My husband and I stayed here for three lovely nights... we were on bikes, and quickly determined that we were better off leaving the bikes at the bottom of the hill and walking up! It is that steep! But Vicki was delightful, driving down our first evening to help us bring our baggage up. She owns the bike shop in town so was very helpful with minor mechanical issues and suggestions for outings. Close to Eastsound for dinners and shopping, close to Moran Park for hiking and exploring. The place was very clean, equipped with coffee (pods), tea, snacks, great linens, beautiful dishes, good wifi. Not a single complaint! And then, there are the views... awesome.

You won’t want to leave
My daughter and I had the incredible good fortune to find Vicki’s beautiful apartment available for our stay on Orcas Island. We were on the island in celebration of my daughter’s 40th birthday and our quest to see orcas in the wild. The orcas did not disappoint and neither did Vicki’s vacation rental :)). From the moment we arrived at Vicki’s, we felt blessed to have found such a lovely and perfect place for us. The apartment is decorated absolutely beautifully and appointed with everything one could want, need, or desire for a perfect stay. We fixed lite meals there, but could have prepared much more with grill on the deck, stove, refrigerator and plenty of cookware. However, we chose to pick up prepared meals and bring back to Vicki’s in order to enjoy every moment we could eating on the deck, admiring the view, and toasting some of the most incredible sunsets we had ever seen. My daughter and I are already talking about our next visit, and we’ll make certain to coordinate with the availability of Vicki’s Robin Song apartment. During our visit, Vicki made certain we knew she was available for any questions or concerns, but she gave us our complete privacy. Thank you for a charmed stay.
