"If there's a b & b anywhere where the hosts are more attentlve, i've yet to visit it. A real gem of a place, spotlessly clean, great breakfast and a 5 minute walk to the town centre make this a great place to come. We have been twice now and there is sure to be a third when we revisit Dumfries."

It was an icy night - and unfortunately, the heating failed, so it was chilly in the room. Nice and clean - bathroom too."

En-route from the Scottish Highlands to Kent - it makes an ideal overnight stay with a good evening meal available if you want one. Pooch-friendly Room 11 is lovely.
