Dirty, noisy house!
We arrived to a dirty house with food remnants throughout the kitchen, refrigerator, and house, dead bugs all throughout the house, dirty bathrooms, and dirty floors. Little supplies, half a roll of paper towels for a 3 night stay. So close to I-90 highway, too loud to open windows. Property manager apologized for dirty house, but was unwilling to refund at least one night's fee to compensate us for our disappointment, and time it took for us to clean our "Vacation" house upon arrival.

AWESOME!!! Except the Fridge Don't Work... Please replace for others
There are a few issues that need to be addressed (see below) but lets start with the upsides: Perfectly surrounded in the tranquility of nature. Neighbors are far enough away that you are essentially secluded. Elk bed down nearby which is priceless... Hummingbirds flutter constantly, there are some resident Finches that are very friendly. The inside is very nice. A/C is awesome, and very clean. The bathroom are very nice, the shower, jetted tub, limited use toilet all A +++ !!!! Now the issues: The Refrigerator DOES NOT WORK AT ALL, (although the freezer does???) ... Luckily we had plenty of coolers to just rotate the freezer keepers in and out of the coolers and keep refrigerated stuff cold. And since the freezer works that will work out, but the Fridge NEEDS TO BE REPLACED!!! Garbage disposal in the island sink has something in it (and no I am not putting my hand into it) and there is a Horrible smell coming from it. We bought some Clorox Cleaner so that we could spray it daily and keep the smell at bay. Needs to be addressed. NO Batteries for any of the remote controls... luckily my wife thinks of these things and brought some. There is no internet, which fine, because TMobile/Sprint is full bars there, and you can use your phone wifi. But... The one and only TV in the living room is outdated and does NOT connect. So you are stuck with DVD's (player didn't work and of course no batteries). I think along with the new refrigerator an updated Smartcast TV should also be in the works. NO PROPANE... bottle was there, but it was empty. Had to go buy our own. Not cool at all. Was asked to arrive late, because cleaning was not done. It was clean, but you could tell it was rushed. Which isn't a big deal, but with the limited time you are staying and all of the issues mentioned above, well... Old Cigarette Butts all over the front and back. I don't have anything against smoking, but old cigarette butts when you pull in might leave a bad first impression. Just saying... Overall, I would recommend this place IF, it gets a new fridge and TV. The kitchen and space is amazing. You could feed an entire platoon with that kitchen. Very impressive.

House is beautiful BUT
The house was beautiful but when we got there there was a trash bag full of trash all over the yard and beer can then went in the house and in the kitchen the coffee pot was dirty there were dishes in the dishwasher beer cans on the top of the cabinets and rotten cookies picked up the phone and there was a booger on it we came up to go to Big Subaru Northwest and we couldn’t pull out our car from the trailer and use the garage because the garage was locked and there was dust and cobb webs on the tops of the wall

Great location and space
The location and surrounding environment are beautiful. It’s right off the highway but off the road enough to enjoy your yard privately. Plenty of beds and rooms for a large family to be comfortable and wake up with beautiful views. Make sure to bring everything you need because everything else is bare bones.

Great get away
This is a really reasonably priced, well appointed home. We were there for a weekend retreat for two and found the extra space to be quite lively for us to simply relax in. The Kitchen is perfect for a weekend of cooking.

Poor quality home. Shame on the homeowner and vacasa.
I was in a contract with this home for 18 days. On day two I contacted vacasa to let them know that the fridge didn’t work. During our entire stay I could not get anyone out to fix it. The fridge was also unplugged upon arrival so I assume they may have been aware it had an issue. They advertise a tv yet it had no cable or working channels nor did any remote work. There was no WiFi. I had to use my hotspot until my data ran out. The carpet was disgusting. The garage was unavailable for use which was disappointing as I intended to store items there. Most of the doors in the house including the closet doors either were broken or hard to open. If you are looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay then do not stay here.

Great Potential
This property has one of the best locations, it is very secluded and provides an escape that you would be hard pressed to duplicate or find else where. There are great views from every window and humming birds fluttering about almost 24/7. I want to say more about this property, but am also compelled to be honest, as the title says this property has potential. We faced some difficult challenges, specifically with Vrbo and their lack of communication. The property was not clean when we arrived, this has been an issue in the past and obviously still is an issue. It was dirty to the extent that hair was all over the bathroom floors and the counters had not been wiped down, due to this being visible we felt the need to vacuum and wipe everything down as well as wash all of the sheets. The refridgerator was also not working and forced us to purchase additional cooler, buy ice daily, and lose food. The property needs a small amount of work, but besides that it is amazing and has great potential. Our biggest complaint is Vrbo, we expressed these issues from the start and I called a number of times to follow up on what was happening as well as providing updates on the situation. This in my opinion is backwards, I am on vacation, I do not work for Vrbo, yet I was making all the efforts to address the issues. I even waited a whole day for a maintenace person to look at the refrigerator, which no fault to him, did not work. We were there for 7 days and notified the company day 1, after the maintenance person visited, I was never called to see if it was fixed, I called them and they asked me to wait around for another day while someone else came out, this was on the second to last day of our trip. This could have all been fine had Vrbo put any effort into communicating and at least attempting to make me and my family feel as though we were a thought to the company. We made the best of our situation and still enjoyed out time at the place and in the area, but the lack of follow through with the company means we will likely not continue doing business with them, which is sad because it could have been fixed with some simple communication, thats all.

Secluded and quiet (no Wi-Fi (
I'll start by saying they're is no wifi. I know it's in the description, but I didn't even think to look. I assumed everywhere has wi-fi at this point. So keep that in mind. The stay was great. It was plenty clean (I read a couple reviews saying it wasn't, but that was not the case for us). If you strain, you can see the neighbors, but mostly just a beautiful setting that is nice and secluded. They have all the utensils and cookware you may need and then jetted tub is basically a hot tub. It was a really nice inclusion.

Just okay
Wanted to love this cabin - we love the area and have stayed at quite a few different vrbos and airbnbs in the area. The reviews were mixed but given the size of the cabin and the price per night we decided to give it a shot. The cabin itself has so much potential, tucked back in the trees down a private driveway you really feel the "cabin" feel. Nice deck out front with patio furniture and a bbq. However, no propane to actually use the bbq. (We were there in the winter so maybe they provide in the summer) The inside of the cabin needs to be deep cleaned. A little disappointing to have to wash everything before we used it - glasses had lip marks, spatulas had old food stuck to them. The sink had mustard or something smeared all over the faucet with somebody's fake nail sitting next to it. When we went to get coffee ready for the next morning we noticed the pot was pretty badly cracked but figured since it was still there we'd try anyway. Right when we filled it with water it shattered. So every morning we had to drive to the coffee stand to get our coffee. Not a huge deal but a little annoying and frustrating. The closet in the kids room had a bunch of balled up sheets inside on the floor. They may have been clean, we didnt need them so didnt care to check. The master bedrooms (both) were actually pretty clean and both had full bathrooms attached which was nice considering we were there with another family. One of the masters has a jacuzzi tub so of course the kids wanted to go in after being outside in the cold. Totally fun and fine until we turned the jets on and some sort of mixture of hair and gunk came out of them. Like I said, we wanted to love this place but the list of things just kept going. All in all we still had fun. Beautiful setting, took some nice walks and only about 20 minutes away from hayak for the kiddos to sled. Luckily we read reviews so we knew to bring our own TP, paper towels and cleaning supplies. Only about a half roll in each bathroom with no extra. (Just as the reviews had said) Definitely not enough for two families of four, there for 4 days. Also a bunch of lightbulbs out throughout the place. The attention to detail is just not there. To be fair all of the other properties weve rented have had a much higher price point so maybe this is typical of a lower nightly rate. Now we know! :)

Amazing get away
I absolutely loved this cabin. Its is very spacious and in a beautiful location. Will definitely stay again. The only thing that I wish I can rate a 5 would be the cleaning. When I arrived at the home the counter tops were stained with food, the fridge was very dirty, and the stove had left over cookies which clearly means they didn't even look in the stove. I had to sanitize the whole cabin myself. Than when I had to move one of the couches there was hamburg cheese on the floor eww. I am pretty sure the cabin was cleaner when I left compare to when I arrived. Again the cabin is amazing but please do a better job at cleaning specially when we have COVID19 to worry about.

Freezer did not freeze. Dishes were not clean due to no dishwasher soap. Otherwise fabulous. Price per night was exorbitant considering the lack Of WiFi and other normal conveniences. We very much enjoyed the stay however, and would definitely recommend it.

Great vacation place for family and friends just one hour away from Seattle
Elk Tracks Lodge is a beautiful place for a winter vacation. The location is very easy to find and the best thing is that it is just an hour away from Seattle. We spent three nights at New Years at the lodge and had wonderful time. The lodge is equipped with everything needed to live and enjoy. The heating system works great and keeps the whole place warm and cozy. During the day we went cross country skiing at Cabin Creak, just 10 minutes away, the pass is 20 min away, very convenient for day activities. You need a Sno-Park pass for parking. There was lots of snow, but the driveway was nice and clean. The owner Joanne was very kind, trying to help with everything that we needed to make our stay most enjoyable. Thank you.

Amazing Lodge!!!
First let me start my saying that the communication from Joanne was great! There is always some stress involved regarding any stay in any place on vacation however, Joanne made things very easy and comforting through her quick responses. As far as the lodge this place is absolutely amazing! The lodge has an open concept so the extremely large kitchen allowed everyone in the living room to be involved in conversations and the kitchen literally has everything you need to prepare even gourmet meals. Most importantly to me the lodge was extremely clean, warm and the beds were extremely comfortable. All I can say is that my wife, children and the other couple we were with were thoroughly impressed. We have already recommended this lodge to our friends.

Best Christmas Ever
What a wonderful house. My family of 8 including myself and two children spent our Christmas here. It was perfect. The beautiful gourmet kitchen and great room were the perfect size. We had lots of room and a roaring fire in the wood stove. The couches and all the furniture were so comfy. And plenty of snow. We sledded and played everyday. I highly recommend this great house and location. Joanne, the owner, was so friendly and easy to get a hold of if you needed anything. Thank you Joanne!! The best Christmas ever!!
