"We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving gathering. The space is very open and welcoming. The basement games are a fun addition. The beds were comfortable and the linens of good quality. Nancy was very quick and supportive with any questions we had. Although it's close to the Tweed New Haven airport, we were not bothered by the planes and at night they don't seem to fly. "

"This is my third year staying at this property. I have friends that live around the area so it is a nice quiet private space to reconnect. Paul the host is always quick to respond to any concerns I may have while staying. My dog Angel is in heaven literally 5 steps to the water . The beach and people are so kind and friendly. Love it!"

"Landscaping was spectacular and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the lake. Baths and bedrooms very clean. Plenty of charging ports. Terrible mold and mildew smell in lower level. Number of hazards noted, handrail missing on stairs, no lights on outdoor stairway, thermostat access by leaning over the stairs. The property needs a good deep cleaning."

"We had a wonderful Christmas getaway with family at the “Ice Cream Cottage”. It is much more spacious than it looks on the outside.It was clean and had everything we needed. Host was attentive to any questions we had.The fenced in yard was great for our “fur baby” to run around."

"This was the second time I stayed at this property and really do love it. It is close enough to my family in Ridgefield for me to fee like I am just around the corner, while being in a quiet, peaceful private property. The setup was perfect for myself and my mom, but could also accommodate a larger group. It isn’t a big space, but had everything that we needed. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be looking to stay here again on another visit. Thank you!"

"My brother, sister and I were looking for a property that reminded us of our family vacations at a lake in New Hampshire. This house was perfect: gorgeous view of the lake, comfortable bedrooms, nice amenities, pretty decor and a working fireplace! Two suggestions: a light marking the driveway for late arrivals, and a few extra blankets in the bedrooms. Otherwise, just great. And thanks for arranging the lovely early spring weather, too!"
