"The Winchester Hotel and Spa was a great value stay. I stayed one night for a birthday treat to be able to enjoy the spa. The spa facilities are excellent and included in your stay. The gym was surprisingly well kitted out, but the spa was the highlight. A lovely relaxation area, good amount of places to lounge, lovely heated pool, sauna, hottub, steam room and plunge shower. Excellently comfortable and clean and would be great as a spa day too. The rooms are a clean and comfortable. The restaurant for dinner or breakfast didn't really appeal. The hotel was easy enough to find and a short wander from the train station. "

"Hotel is lovely and very clean, We were impressed with our room and the bed was comfortable, Be careful if your shower is in the bath as can be a little slippery! Food was great but a little expensive, So wasn't surprised when people were bringing in takeaways, My only negative is its very noisy down stairs even in the queit area its noisy, All most as if the hotel's bar/restaurant area isn't big enough to accommodate too many guests to just sit and have a chat before or after a meal, So if you want a hotel where you can enjoy a quiet drink and a chat this isn't the hotel for you, Staff were excellent, Exterior of hotel was great too and plenty of parking. "
