Holiday home near the Frisian Eleven Cities

Nice house in the small Frisian village of Easterlittens (Oosterlittens). The corner house is especially suitable for 2 adults, but 2 extra people can sleep on the sofa bed. The living room wall is filled with LPs that you can play on the record player. At the front of the house is the terrace.

In the village there is a campsite with a terrace on the water. Here you can rent canoes for a canoe trip. The Franeker and Bolswardervaart run through the village. These channels are suitable for boating, swimming and fishing. From Easterlittens there are plenty of cycling options through the landscape of the Greidhoeke. In the church of Wiuwert there are 4 mummies in the burial vault that you can visit. Or drive to Harlingen in 20 minutes and take the boat to Terschelling or Vlieland. 6 of the 11 cities of the Elfstedentocht are within cycling distance.

There are 2 bicycles waiting for you. You can book the B&B for a minimum of 2 nights, but it is also suitable for a longer stay. The beds are made on arrival.

Quiet getaway
I stayed here for 6 nights with my wife and we really enjoyed it. The town is very quiet but it's a short drive to cities like Leeuwarden and Harlingen for activities. There is a grocery store in the next town over so it's a quick drive or bike ride if you need to pick up anything. Two bicycles are provided for use so I would hop on after dinner and explore the beautiful countryside. The property is spacious for two adults and very clean and comfortable. Please note that there is a church right across the street and the bells will go off at the top and bottom of each hour. We didn't notice when we were sleeping but it could impact light sleepers.

We hebben hier een fijne week gehad. Het huisje is netjes en schoon. Goede uitgangsuitgangsbasis voor mooie fietstochten. Enige nadeel: best verl muggen binnen, ondanks de raamhorren.

Tolle Unterkunft fĂŒr eine Auszeit
Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, ist top ausgestattet und wir hatten wirklich eine tolle Zeit. Das Dorf bietet zwei LokalitĂ€ten, am Campingplatz ca 3min Fußweg und ein sehr leckeres Restaurant 75m vom Haus entfernt, sehr zu empfehlen. Schwimmen in der Gracht ist ebenfalls möglich Wir kommen gern wieder.

Een mooi en verrassend huisje met meer dan voldoende ruimte voor twee personen. De ontvangst door de eigenaren was heel aardig, gastvrij en open. Ben je met zijn vieren dan biedt het huisje nog steeds voldoende ruimte maar dan slapen er twee op de slaapbank. Wat opvalt is de rust in de omgeving. De kerk is de buurman maar die klinkt heerlijk dorps. Het huisje is mooi en compleet ingericht, wij hebben het hier enorm naar onze zin (gehad).

Compleet ingerichte woning in landelijke omgeving
Een hele nette en schone woning met erg vriendelijke eigenaren. De mooie Friese steden Bolsward, Harlingen, Franeker, Sneek en Leeuwarden zijn zeer goed bereikbaar. Daarnaast leent de omgeving zich goed voor wandel- en fietstochten. De herbergh "Het wapen van Friesland" Easterlittens is een aanrader!

Heerlijke accommodatie, alles is aanwezig. De twee fietsen hebben we van harte gebruikt. De ligging is perfect om verschillende steden per fiets te gaan ontdekken. En doordat de slaapkamer op de begane grond is gesitueerd is deze zomers lekker koel. We hebben echt genoten.

Prettig huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Easterlittens ligt mooi centraal ten opzichte van Leeuwen, Franeker, Sneek en Bolsward. Allemaal makkelijk aan te fietsen. De inrichting roept (jeugd) herinneringen op aan de jaren '60 en '70. De platenspeler is een mooi extraatje. Er zijn veel mooie LP's en onze zelf meegenomen platen zijn weer gewekt. Ik ga weer een platenspeler kopen.

Na een warm welkom met een fles bubbels voor ons in de koelkast erg genoten van dit super schone en zeer compleet ingerichte huis waar echt aan alles is gedacht. Zelfs reserve tanenborstels voor het geval je vergeten mocht zijn. Ook de 2 bijbehorende fietsen maakten het voor ons compleet. Er is een mogelijkheid voor ontbijtservice door de eigenaar. Veel info aanwezig over Friesland en heerlijk om weer eens een langspeelplaat te kunnen draaien en luisteren.

Het is een geweldig huis met alles erop en eraan. Leuk ongericht. Je kunt zelfs platen draaien. Fantastische keuken met keukenspullen. De plaats ligt heel centraal t.o.v uitstapjes naar Leeuwarden, Sneek, Stavoren, Ijlst. Kortom de 1 stedentocht met de auto te rijden. En er zijn gratis fietsen.

Es wĂ€re schön gewesen, wenn die Unterkunft vorzeitig vor unserem Eintreffen geheizt worden wĂ€re. Die fĂŒr die untere Etage angegebene Fußbodenheizung hat nie funktioniert. So mußten wir das Erdgeschoss mit dem Badezimmerheizkörper heizen, was natĂŒrlich nicht geklappt hat. WLAN hat bei unserem Eintreffen nicht funktioniert.wurde aber am selben Abend noch instandgesetzt. Ausstattung des Hauses super. Sonst alles ok.
