"After an initial mix up with the lock box, we entered a beautiful yet simple home which was perfect for our family of four. The kids had a bedroom each, ours was down the other end of the house with an ensuite. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed you to be part of the main house goings-on due to it's location. We really loved staying at Ruru. During the 3 minute walk to the beach, we made friends with some local horses who loved a good scratch on the neck. These became quite a highlight...

"The house is located in an amazing location overlooking the beach. It is close to the boat ramp so you are in the middle of the action. A great place to people watch. The house was very clean and comfortable. Although it had all the mod cons, it still had that relaxing batch feel. "

"Excellent stay at Elise's accommodation. Very spacious, well equipped, clean, well decorated and well located. We felt at home. Very nice outdoor as well. We didn’t use the bikes because of lack of time but it’s great to have access to them. Close (by car) to the Abel Tasman, Kaiteriteri and Marahau where we rented kayaks for the day. Elise advised us well for restaurants and activities. We highly recommend ! "

"Our family had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Ansarli Villa. The property and grounds were immaculate, and we had nothing to do except unpack and relax. The location was ideal, private, but reasonably close to amenities and services. Despite thinking we would spend some time exploring the local area, in the end we spent pretty much the whole time on the property as it had absolutely everything we could want there. "Stayed here with my parents and 2 month old baby - it was glorious! So tranquil. A really special place. Easy walk to the beach and nearby eateries. Backing onto the mountains, so super quiet. Host was so nice and accommodating. Cooked us all lovely pizzas in the outdoor oven (be sure to give him a days warning, though!) Free yoga and massages. And lots of beautiful sights within easy driving distance. Complete bliss. And super good value for money. Please book here! You won’t regret it!!"
