"The apartment is a lovely third floor space with everything that you could need for a stay in Troy. As with many older townhomes the stairs are a little steep, but the apartment more than made up for them. It was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. I would highly recommend this rental."

"My friends and I stayed here, and we very much enjoyed a quiet place to stay at the end of the day. We were racing nearby at the Dragway for a few days, the location was great. The deer that visited in the yard was a nice touch. It's also a nice place to take in the sunrise from the deck with a coffee or two. We would definitely stay here again."

"We booked a couple nights to attend a show at Tanglewood and Chris and Ellen's Heartwood cabin did not disappoint. Great proximity to countless things of interest (amazing digital guidebook provided by hosts) we were only able to scratch the surface. So grateful dogs are able to enjoy the cabin and the gorgeous grounds. We will try to return down the road for sure!"

"The cabin was exactly what my daughter and I were looking for. Everything was clean, organized and family friendly. A bonus was the property connects to Bessie Woods and we were able to go for a hike on the trails without even having to leave the property. If you love quiet and the sounds of nature, this is the perfect place for you. We can’t wait to stay there again soon."

"If you're looking to get away from the noise and bustle, but be close enough to some vibrant communities like Stockbridge and Lenox that have featured cultural offerings like music (Tanglewood) and theater (Shakespeare and Company), and spend your days in a modernized and pristine cabin with all the amenities, then this property is for you. Those were the features my wife and I were targeting. In addition, the owner was very responsive (a text away) when we had any questions. We recommend it...

"We loved staying at the cabin! We spent three nights here after visiting NYC—the perfect place to unwind and relax. Everything was taken care of, the property was beautiful, and we loved walking around the lake. The cabin is located behind the main house, but it's very private. We would recommend booking this and would love to come back one day. "

"We had an excellent stay at Jiminy peak during the Fright nights. The mountain coaster was a blast and we loved riding the gondola up to the top of the mountain to see the leaves! We will be back next year. Our only small complaint was that our room was right next to the line for the ticket booth and the teenagers were pretty loud into the late night waiting to be spooked. It might be a good idea next year to plan for long lines of people and cone off the area to snake the line a bit better....

"Fantastic place to stay! So homey, comfortable, and peaceful. Steven was a fabulous host, and his property is wonderful - in a beautiful garden. The room is large and beyond well equipped. No reason to pay more to stay downtown Hudson. We’re on a month-long New England road trip, and this has been our favorite stay! "
