We have stayed in so many hotels over the years and have never come across rooms so clean and the en-suite as well was immaculate. Staff are amazing and breakfast 1st class. "We enjoyed a relaxing two-night stay at the Norfolk Mead and were impressed by the attention to detail and service provided. The food - at both breakfast and dinner - was delicious and there was an excellent selection of wine. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with all needs met and a very decent shower. "A great village pub that also offers accommodation. Food was excellent and better quality you would find in most pubs, and even some restaurants. Breakfast was nice also. All the staff are supper friendly. Bedrooms are up a flight of stairs and of course, in a village pub, there is no lift, so if you have problems climbing stairs. maybe not here. If ever we are in this area, we would have no hesitation in booking The Black Lion."
