"I got there extremely early and they were gracious enough to have me check in before the time which I was grateful for because I had an eventful night ahead of me and I definitely needed as much sleep as I could get. The staff is kind and deals with everyone according to their needs. "

"I stayed at the American Inn twice this month. The room was clean and comfortable, travelling alone i felt safe. it is right down the street from the Sky Diner...good for breakfast (second time in did dinner there...good, reasonable, daily specials). There is also a supermarket in the same plaza. There was a mini fridge in the room- good for keeping drinks cold."

"The whole place was dirty, no mirror on the bathroom, stains in the bed sheets, blood stains on the walls, cigarette burns on the bed headboard, at checkin they did not want to accept the credit card, only cash, a suspicious look from the manager. I would say that Expedia is bringing is reputation down just by association with this property. I wouldn’t stay there for free anymore"

"On return, post concert, we had to wade through a flooded road due to significant rainfall. No issue of the hotel, but apparently a problem in that locale as there is a flood measuring post planted roadside, at the end of the seawall. Front desk girl was courteous and efficient. Bartenders were spot-on. All in all, a nice spot."
