"Firstly, the LODGE app is HORRIBLE/doesn't work. BUT, the hotel itself is nice, although there is a decent amount of road noise; staying in a room opposite of the main road would probably fix most of that. The hotel building is older, but well-built and the remodel work done is very nice and minimalist; the space feels open and inviting. The only critique i have of the room itself is the European-style/door-less showers. The shower stall itself is too short for this to work well without easily getting water on the floor, a door would fix this, though it wouldn't be as aestheticly pleasing. The on site maintenance guy was super nice, helped us work around the app issues and we needed an extension cord, he brought us one within minutes! I have dog allergies, so having a few no-dog rooms set asside would be nice, but the room was exceptionally clean and the rooms have hard floors instead of carpet; something i like very much, it keeps allergens down and is MUCH cleaner than carpet. Ive never understood why carpet is preferred in hotels, even when it's been freshly vacuumed, it's still not really clean. I also like the layout, its friendly for storing gear easily and if you bring a bike, there's even a dedicated space in the room for you to store it, but if you dont have a bike it can still store other items. The location is pretty good ,despite the road noise, this is a very walkable location with pretty much all you'd need a short distance away, including ice cream 😃"
