"Lovely place, very cleaned everything you need except shampoo but I brought some. Beds and couches were comfy. Walk to the pond was a bit farther than expected but a nice walk and the view was perfect . Close to town and grocery store we enjoyed our stay. "

Close to both Attitash and Wildcat, we also took the dog for a hike at Diana's Baths and did some shopping at the outlets. "

"Incredible stay at black bear lodge. Perfectly nestled in the trees, the lodge had everything you could need and was very clean. The bedrooms were well appointed and the living space with the log fires in the lounge and kitchen were dreamy. We had a wonderful stay and communication was excellent the entire time. "We had a great vacation on Jaybird Pond, swimming, kayaking, hiking and making family memories. Renters should know that the property does not have running water or electricity. The property managers help you figure out how to boil the pond water and use the propane lamps. If you’re willing to rough it, you can’t beat the experience of having your own pond. "
