The perfect get away for family and friends. This newly renovated home sits right on the highly desirable south arm of beautiful Lake Charlevoix. Enjoy plenty of water frontage privacy just minutes from downtown Charlevoix and East Jordan. Just 20 minutes to Boyne Resort. Four bedrooms plus two pull out couches makes room for plenty. Take a step out on the back deck and you are 30 feet from the water! Roast your marshmallows at the fire pit by the shore or hang out on the spacious deck by the water. Clean swimming area with gradual decline for little ones or jump off the end of the dock for a refreshing swim. Play on the swing set, float on a raft, go kayaking, play in the sand boxes. There is fun for all ages!
Comfortable living room offers beautiful views &Wi-Fi. 2021: first floor renovation with all new flooring, Kitchen Countertops, slider doors, and exterior. Spacious kitchen stocked with everything you need and of course grilling on the deck. Beautiful master bedroom suite has king bed. 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. Bedroom 3 & 4 each have 2 twin beds.
We provide life jackets, beach toys, games and more. Come and enjoy all that northern Michigan lakefront living has to offer from this beautiful perch!

Beautiful, comfortable house!

Fabulous Stay

Lake Charlevoix House
Lake views were great, deck was on the Lake Shore, kitchen and baths were clean and appliances were fairly new. Location convenient and easy to get to stores and restaurants in East Jordan as well as on the highway to get to Charlevoix and Petoskey or Traverse for more specialized, tourist shopping. Great location and great lake views!!

Kid friendly Lake getaway
Our kids (two 2 yo, and two 4 yo) loved staying here. They thought of everything! The play set, kayak, sand box and toys were a hit. However, the front door is easily opened by toddlers from the inside. Otherwise, this was a relatively stress free stay with our toddlers. Thank you for a great stay!

Family Get-away
The home and yard are spacious and property manager was very responsive. Understand the home is on the water but there were so many spiders and spiderwebs it looked as if it had not been cleaned recently or very well. Photos need to be updated. Deck and swing set are much older than appear. The sand photo looked to me as a sandy beach. It is not. It is a sandbox.

We were up for a wedding at Castle Farms and had a large group with us. We loved the location, the open downstairs living area and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group. The views of the lake are fantastic!!! Great property and great communication from Sandy!

Great place, beautiful view
Everything was great. The view is awesome. We had a group of 8 adults, and it fit all of us perfectly. My only concern was that the smoke detectors didn't seem to be in working condition.

Amazing Lake Front House
We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home. It is right on the lake and easy to dock a boat to a buoy. We enjoyed the kayaks, the fire pit, the grill and the paddle board. The house is very comfortable and the view is gorgeous! Plenty of space in the bedrooms. We love the deck off the master bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked and has plenty of room for your own groceries. The host is awesome and will make sure you have everything you need during your stay. This was our 2nd time in the house. It's a perfect place for vacation!

The inside of the home is great, very open floor plan and perfect for families. However, the backyard has some issues. The deck was covered in poop, the sandbox was a weed box, and the swing set was completely taken over by spiders. Overall, the home was great, the outside needed some love.

Great time
this was a much needed fun time for 2 families (5 kids ages 10m, 3,3, 5 and 8) to get together. The house was perfect, kids loved the sand box and play set. The older ones loved being on the kayak and jumping off the dock, the oldest even tried paddleboarding Only negative would be there wasn't room darkening curtains, so even with sheets over we were all up by 7. However. The view was gorgeous, so it helped!

Lake Charlevoix Getaway
Overall this property checked all the boxes when I booked this property for our northern Michigan getaway from South Carolina. Lovely home right on Lake Charlevoix, location was within a reasonable driving distance to nearby locations we wanted to visit, dock, kayaks, firepit, clean, and great communication with owner, however there was one factor I was not aware of and never considered ... M-66 is a very busy road!! Even though it's only a 2 lane road, there were huge dump trucks and 18 wheelers driving by all day long. So much for relaxation on a beautiful lake. For those who don't mind loud traffic noise, this is a wonderful place to stay!

Phenomenal vacation destination. Gorgeous large home right on the water. Every thing you desire
First time on Lake Charlevoix. Weather was great. Water was warm and feet away. Home was exceptional. Everything you could ask for. Tastefully decorated. Lots of room for our large family. The owners are very receptive and willing to meet our needs. The location was perfect. Great sunrises. Campfires every night. Gary and Sandy provide a great venue for summer vacation. Charlevoix is minutes away and there is lots of things to do, see, and enjoy. Great restaurants - like Smoke on the Water, The French Place (great crepes); nice store front shops, and downtown. We will definitely be back. But next time longer. Thanks for the new memories.

Good...but Expected better
House is nice, location is great on the lake, but cleaning company needs improvement. Expected even higher cleaning standard during this time of Covid. Beds and bathrooms were clean, but was very disappointed to have to spend first hour wiping whole kitchen down and mopping floor!! Cabinets look like they’ve never been wiped (inside drawers were disgusting), Microwave had food splattered all over, and there was no paper towel or extra toilet paper. We had to run out to buy both. I would suggest owner follow up with cleaning company, because the hefty cleaning fee charged should have resulted in much better cleaning! (Pictures available)

Outdated and grungy
The property was rather outdated and the cleaners don't do much other than wash sheets and clean towels. We tried to vacuum multiple times because the floor felt so dirty, but the vacuum at the home doesn't work so it was pointless. The sliding glass door is very hard to open with the glass or the screen. Our eight year old could hardly even do it and multiple plates of food got spilled while trying to go out the door. The home had plenty of space, but it just needs updated with new carpet, new kitchen floors, and a working vacuum!! Also, the owners should look into new cleaners.

Almost Perfect!
What we loved: Sandy was wonderful - she was very responsive, accommodating and I enjoyed her correspondence. We rented last minute. The beds were very comfortable Paddle Board and the tube was super fun Being right on the water - the view Fire-pit Open floor plan Family board games Climbing tree with rope Disappointments: House sits literally 25 feet off of M-66 - traffic noise was not relaxing; difficult to sleep. We did not know it was right off the main road when we rented. Suggestion is to disclose/indicate this on the vrbo page. Maybe provide ear plugs for guests. The window blinds were not easy to use and did not provide adequate light blockage from traffic lights or the sun, especially in the bedrooms. Suggestion - hang light blocking fabric window treatments in bedrooms or replace blinds. A shaded sitting area (maybe an umbrella) on the back deck would have been nice = )

Labor Day weekend
Had a great weekend on Lake Charlevoix. The house is in the perfect location to go to different cities and enjoy site seeing. We were there to fish and it was a beautiful weekend.
