"I was on small trip with my girlfriend for her birthday as she wanted to go to Mystic. The house was perfect size for both of us, had lots of history to the home with deco. Also the neighborhood lots of history and definitely a short walk to most things. Very Nice had Washed and Dryer to use as we were able to use and not bring home dirty laundry. We were able to go to everywhere we planned! Would definitely stay again! "

"We stayed here to attend a wedding at the nearby River House and it was perfect. We were super close to the venue, the place was cozy but large enough to be comfortable and was clean. We cooked dinner and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We even walked to the Gelston House for a nightcap on their back deck. It was a great location and nice stay."

"We came to town for the weekend Christmas festivities in Mystic. We wanted more space than a hotel room and this was perfect for the four of us (2 adults, 18 and 11 year old.) We loved having a water view and we love the trains! A nice touch was the coffee provided by the owners as they are also local coffee roasters. It is about a mile walk to town but we enjoyed it, even in the cold. Communication with the owners was quick and easy, too. We would definitely come back in the future. "

"Oh. Em. Gee. This place was amazing. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. Erin was communicative and explained everything. Erin thought of everything down to having a 1st aid kit in the bathroom and olive oil in the kitchen. I need their cleaning crew! Everything was cleaner than clean. It felt like a hotel with a family house feel. I am thinking of a reason to come back just so I can stay here again. "

"The house was exactly as described and was as nice as it looked in the photos. The property contact was very responsive and communicated well. Beds were comfy, plenty of linens available, kitchen well stocked, and all appliances and fixtures are updated. This was originally planned for my three adult sons to stay, but I ended up staying there several nights. Was a great location to visit family in Cromwell. We stayed 10 nights and would highly recommend. "

"We had a GREAT time here!! Just beautiful scenery all around. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed essentially. I was quite impressed with how comfortable we actually were. There was a temporary power outage but it didn’t last long and management not only delivered more wood to us but also gave it to us for free as we wanted to spend our time outdoors during the outage. Im super happy to have had this experience and would absolutely be doing it again!! Thank you Postcard...

Clientele was shady and co within of hotel rooms and surrounding area was dirty, worn out, in need of maintenance and overall place was a dump.
