"I arrived on New Years Eve, but the property hadn't warned me that the only food option was a three course meal at £44.50. Similarly on New Years Day, I went early for dinner at 6.15 to be told the kitchen closed at 6. No one had alerted me to the early closure. They did make me some Tapas. If I had known I would have eaten elsewhere before returning to hotel. The food on New Years Day was excellent, I just didn't want to spend that much money. "

We were in Bedroom 8, which in busy times would suffer with a lock of privacy being overlooked by the path down the side and a glamping tent behind. "Third time staying here and as ever it was fantastic. Requested a room nearer the pub ad my husband has walking difficulties and got our favourite Room 1. Wonderful meal the beef cheeks were excellent. Superb service from every member of staff. Our only criticism which i have fed back directly is we dont like the milk sachets used on the drinks tray in bedroom does not match the standard of the bedroom would prefer fresh milk perhaps in a small flask"
