"We had a great stay from August 20-27. We chose this spot as it was close to family in the area and we wanted to be able to base ourselves close to them while also being within an hour or so of a lot of Halifax, Peggy's Cove, etc. The cottage was a great size, with lots of space for our family to relax and spread out. The kitchen was very well-appointed. The outdoor space was just wonderful - we enjoyed a campfire almost every night, and during the day the kids spent hours in the paddleboat checking out the shoreline. If we are back in the area, we will definitely check to see if this cottage is available!"

"Oh my gosh! Where do I start?! Our stay at the Aurora Inn was absolutely wonderful! Their staff is super friendly and delightful to carry a conversation with. The room we stayed in was perfect! The only suggestion I would have for additional convenience would be a microwave in the rooms. We were traveling with a baby, so it would have been easier to warm up his bottles in a microwave rather than going to a restaurant to order boiling water to make a bottle on the spot. Other than that though, everything was truly perfect. Even the fridge was nicely hidden in a door of the dresser for convenience. I really enjoyed our 2 nights there and will definitely look forward to staying there again in the future. I would highly recommend the Aurora Inn to everyone!"

Enjoyed watching and listening to the loons and other wildlife. The cottage is well equipped, clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time outside.
