"I stayed a week at Best Western after a terrible experience with Clarion Hotel next door. I was looking for to move to the area. The staff and management were extremely cordial. The week flew by and it felt safely than staying at the hotel next door which had homeless people roaming the parking lot. That being said, if I were to ever stay at a hotel for a reasonable price in Duluth, I would stay there again. The breakfast was good and the location was very convenient with plenty of shopping...

"We got switched to this hotel last minute by Expedia. Very disappointing, the hotel is EXTREMELY outdated. The smell inside is just horrible, the employees are constantly spraying things around to mask the awful smell in which just makes it worse. My bed was clean and bathroom was clean but the pull out was so disgusting that I didn't even dare to touch it. Definitely needs a desperate upgrade."
