The hotel gym was very good as is the attached restaurant, but there are also many cafes close by and it's a short walk to the main shopping district in the Centre of Canberra. "We really liked our stay. Our room was quiet, spacious and extremely clean, with a balcony and lovely view across treetops to Mount Ainslie. The bed was comfortably firm, the shower strong and there were sweet and savoury treats left for us to enjoy. Extra pods for the espresso machine were available at reception, along with apples and chocolate to start our day happily. The location was excellent, right next to Kingston's cafes and restaurants and a short stroll to Manuka in one direction and the Kingston foreshore in the other. Free parking was the bonus, and the staff throughout couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. Highly recommend as a base for a Canberra stay."
