We were located just a few minutes away from Crystal Lake State Park, Lake Willoughby, and wonderful local restaurants like Roberto's Pizza and Barton Baking. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, including heating and a nice fireplace. Highly recommend!"

"Cottage was perfect! Very comfortable and had all the cooking supplies we needed! Older community for sure so glad we had a low key intention for our weekend. Owner has a binder on table with instructions for lighting stove, but the stove does not actually provide any heat. I texted Wayne, the property manager and he said switch on back of stove circulates warm air and thermostat on wall regulates heat, wrong, neither one works. I did not stay and reported the issue to Vrbo and Vacasa, a refund was not issued because their policy states...

"We enjoyed having the Maybrook Cottage as our home base during our annual weeklong visit to Vermont. Our young kids loved the location and the nearby waterfall to explore.
