"I specifically booked a room with a king size bed, got there and they didn’t have one. They were able to convert two singles for me but it seemed an odd thing to have to ask for. The room was decoratively in a rather average state, seem to have a few lumps and bumps missing and rather dated I normally enjoy a Hilton breakfast much more than this one The swimming pools looked great, but needed to be heated more. "The staff and the service was top notch and the room was generally very nice as were the conditions in the hotel and the food was good. We felt very secure inside the hotel. Right outside the hotel on the street, it was not so good as there were men hassling us to get on their horses or taxis and catcalling my girlfriend. However, I can not fault the staff or the conditions inside the hotel."

"Good value, basic hotel. great views over Luxor Temple and the Nile towards the west bank. Breakfast was ok. No kettle in room. Can be noisy at the front with vehicles, dogs and mosque but for location and veiw, it is worth it"

"This cruise exceeded my expectations. Spacious cabins, wonderful sundeck, excellent food, smooth cruising, small capacity relative to other boats and service oriented staff made for a very enjoyable time. At first I was going to book my own guides, but opted instead to book the cruise's siteseeing package. Glad I did, Hamad our guide was outstanding and there can be delays in the cruise do to timing in the river locks which could make coordination with outside guides difficult and stressful. ...

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was a good size and had a kettle and tea bags which is nice. The staff were friendly and helpful though sometimes it took repeated requests for things such as toilet roll. If you want to use the steam room or sauna there is an extra charge of $10 per person and they need notice so you can’t just go down and use it. Food in the bar is basic so better to go elsewhere.
