Two Stone Row: Tim`s Cabin | 1 Bed, 1 Bath

Tim's Cabin at Two Stone Row is located on a beautiful, 85 acre, northern Albemarle County property in Earlysville, Virginia. The cabin is nestled on top of a small hill surrounded by trees with an opening looking out to the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful, Virginia countryside setting; relax by the fire, enjoy coffee on the porch, or fish/boat on the property's private pond.  You could also spend a day at nearby Moss Vineyards and Glasshouse Winery (both within a 20 minute drive) or head into downtown Charlottesville, just 12 miles away, for some dining and nightlife.

This wonderfully restored log cabin was constructed with historic, white pine logs sourced from West Virginia and old heart pine- used extensively in the restoration. The cabin sleeps 4 with a queen bed upstairs and a pull out couch in the main living room.  The main level has an open floor plan providing a full kitchen, breakfast table for 4 and a living room centered around a stone fireplace. A flat-screen TV set-up with Apple TV is available to enjoy your favorite shows and movies. The upstairs bedroom offers another wood-burning fireplace and full bath. Off of the main level, on the backside of the cabin, is a porch that looks out to the Blue Ridge.

Guests of the property also have access to walk the grounds and usage of the private pond nearby.
We welcome you to bring your dog to this property for an additional $45 pet fee.

We liked the pictures of Tim's cabin on the web site, but we were pleasantly surprised at how much better the place was than the pictures. The hosts have done an excellent job of preserving the charm of the cabin, while updating it to be very comfortable. The setting is absolutely beautiful with views of the mountains, trees all around, wildlife in abundance, all while providing a very private quiet stay. Access to Charlottesville, and all the wineries and is also very convenient. All in all, it was a great stay and I suspect that we will be returning when we can.

We loved the historic accuracy of the cabin. The property was beautiful and exactly as described by VRBO. The owner was wonderful and even greeted us with wine, fresh peaches and homemade cookies. We loved the gorgeous mountain views with morning coffee and sunset wine. We defintely will return!

Perfect Getaway
Tim’s Cabin was a pristine weekend escape. The home was very clean and well-kept. We were very comfortable and felt so welcomed by Gordon upon our arrival. He even had the fireplaces prepped for an evening fire. The location was wonderful for travels to Monticello, wineries, Charlottesville, and Carter’s Mountain.

My Husband and I stayed at Tim’s Cabin for our Honeymoon. It was a cozy cabin in a private location with a great view of the Virginia mountains, the entire trip exceeded our expectations and was perfect! The owner Gordon was a most gracious host, he came out to the Cabin and greeted us. He had fireplaces ready to go with plenty of supplies and he also left a couple bottles of wine and some B&B that was greatly enjoyed and appreciated. We are looking forward to when we can return!

Beautiful cabin nestled in the hills of Earlysville
We loved our stay during Christmas at Tim's cabin! As Floridians we were worried about being cold but the two fireplaces, stocked with wood and ready to go when we arrived, along with the central heat (and air) made the perfect place for us to stay! We loved the extra touches and the owner's hospitality! The kids had a great time visiting the nearby farm and seeing the goats. It is an excellent location and we will definitely be back in summer 2019! There is a local winery not far from the property, along with a multiple grocery chains and shopping a short drive away. The bed was super comfy and our two teenage sons shared the pull out couch. Fabulous stay! Thanks for everything!

Little treasure
We have been very fortunate to travel to quite a few places, and this little cabin ranks up there as one of the best. Comfy, warm, inviting, it was a pleasant stay. Loved the logs, two fireplaces, and antique decorations. It was tucked away quiet and secluded with a beautiful view to the Blue Mountains, but close and convenient to many things. The only thing we thought it could use was more/brighter lighting downstairs. We would absolutely return again. Thank you for sharing. And thank you for the complimentary bottle of wine. Sorry you were out of town and we couldn’t meet you.

Relaxing and scenic cabin vacation
Tim’s cabin has by far been our favorite getaway experience in the Charlottesville area. Coming from a city life it has been a wonderful escape for us. The Mountain Views are beautiful, the surrounding nature is ever changing with different bird species and interesting foliage to observe. There is a path to walk next to the cabin which we do every day and we have never failed to see new types of frogs or toads, deer, and other things we just haven’t seen since our childhood. Our favorite part was walking down to the farm area and meeting Jonathan the farmer for the property who introduced us to the sheep and two cows. The inside of the cabin in thoughtfully decorated with gorgeous antique furniture and feels like we are really living in an 1800s cabin, yet it is very comfortable and has modern amenities. Gordon is also very nice and welcoming! He brought us up some eggs one day which were delicious. I think we will be back. After multiple stays in the area (our yearly anniversary getaway) this was by far the best.

Mountain Getaway
My husband and I found this amazing property for a quick and easy getaway weekend. The space was absolute perfection for us - we enjoyed the quiet outdoors while reading on the back porch, loved using the fireplaces, and had everything we needed at the cabin to cook dinner in and feel so comfortable in the house. We also loved that it was just 25-30 minutes away from downtown Charlottesville so we could still go out to dinner one night. We will definitely be back - thank you for sharing your amazing property!

Lovely get away spot
We had a great long weekend in Tim's Cabin. The online listing is one of the most accurate we've ever seen. The descriptions were spot on. The cabin is comfy and views are amazing. We especially enjoyed the wood burning fireplaces. Location is ideal for getting out exploring, hiking, and winery hopping. Well worth the trip and would recommend.

Wilderness Log Cabin... 3 miles from Harris Teeter
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tim’s Cabin in Earlysville. It was so quiet and peaceful at the cabin, it was hard to believe we were minutes from Charlottesville. The cabin was comfortable and full of rustic charm. We liked to sit on the back porch enjoying the stunning view of the Blue Ridge and the occasional pileated woodpecker or hawk. It turned cool one night so we took advantage of the firepit, star gazed, and were surprised to hear an exchange between two Eastern Screech-owls. Our dogs enjoyed exploring the property and going for walks in the nearby woods. A wonderful place to stay and we hope to return again someday.

Charming Cabin
Tim’s Cabin was the perfect place to getaway and relax for a few days. It’s quiet and cozy. We had a storm come through and the owner was nice to check on us the next day. He gifted us a bottle of wine and some delicious honey from his property. Thanks so much Gordon!
