"It may not be a 5 star hotel but I would give Tennyson 5 stars for the way guests needs are catered for. Entry was simple and effective thru key safe. the room was clean comfortable and warm - I returned from a meal at the local Wetherspoons (brilliantly converted cinema covered in lights!) to find the heating had come on and the room was warm as toast. "Great that you check yourself in so there are no time restrictions. Clean. Quiet. Lots of lightning and sockets. Breakfast items are in your room ready for the morning. The kitchen is very nice, big and useful. Nice touches like shower caps. I definitely recommend. "

"After a lovely warm welcome we were shown to a bright spacious comfortable room. I particularly liked the lovely comfy sofa (instead of a spindly chair you have to take turns on like most hotel rooms). There is everything you need in the room, fridge with water, tea/coffee facilities, toiletries etc. The breakfast menu was varied and plentiful. The hosts delightful, we will return. "

"The hotel was in the perfect location for the rail station, which was the reason for booking. The hotel was adequate in regards to their facilities, and the owner was very friendly, which is always a plus. The room was small, but fine for an overnight stay. It was a little bit musty in smell, though probably just needed airing a little bit more. Breakfast was reasonable and I was accommodated for allergies and preference. "
