Enjoy an extraordinary and memorable vacation at one of the most historic and beautiful year round properties on the World Famous Eagle River Chain of 28 Lakes. Nestled as close to the water as possible you will not believe the water views, the amazing sunrises, star gazing and moon rises! The panoramic views of Cranberry Lake and the setting are majestic and unrivaled.

Whether fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming, dining by boat, or just relaxing by the lake, you’ll love every minute on the beautiful Chain of Lakes. Enjoy the large private pier, perfect swimming for all ages, a swim raft with slide, lakeside fire pit, lounge chairs, Adirondack chairs, a stand up board and 2 kayaks and so much more. And with southern exposure you’ll enjoy plenty of sunshine.

The Water’s Edge is one of a kind, among the first custom homes constructed on the Chain of Lakes over 100 years ago. This completely updated home is designed to take full advantage of the remarkable water views and setting. The spacious single level home is perfect for entertaining and relaxing. The stunning great room includes a custom bar, a beautiful stone fireplace and flat-screen TV. You will love the fully stocked gourmet kitchen and lakeside dining room.

The Water’s Edge has 4 very large bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 14. The bedrooms have incredible lake views. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has two queen beds. The third bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk beds and the fourth bedroom has two twin beds. There is also a queen size sleeper futon in the great room. There are two large bathrooms and a full sized washer and dryer. We provide wireless internet and satellite television. The home has hard rock maple floors and high ceilings. When you review our photos, please note that their are a number of stairs down to the house and the building behind our home is our garage.

The Water’s Edge offers all the beauty and recreation of the four seasons. Spring fishing is outstanding, some of the best walleye and pan fishing in Northern Wisconsin. The Chain of Lakes hosts the World Musky Championship. The fall colors are simply inspiring. Held each October, the Cranberry Festival is famous for its hospitality, entertainment, food, arts, crafts and events.

In the winter, snowmobile straight from the Water’s Edge to over 500 miles of renowned snowmobile trails. Eagle River is also host to the United States Pond Hockey Championship which is SIX minutes away. Among the best snow skiing and snowboarding in the Midwest is nearby and it’s very affordable and family friendly. Sledding, snowshoe trails and cross country ski trails are within minutes from the home.

The Water’s Edge is also just minutes from Eagle River by car, boat or snowmobile.

Convenient Stay!
Clean place with a nice dock right on the water. Not much yard space but still a great place to come with friends and family. Might not be little kid friendly with the steep yard, ledges, and rocky entrance to the water, but great for older kids, gatherings, or a weekend of fishing.

Beautiful cabin and setting on Cranberry Lake
Our family had a wonderful time staying at The Water's Edge Cabin on Cranberry Lake. We rented a pontoon from the Marina on Catfish Lake. The cabin was clean and had all the things that we needed to make our stay comfortable! The swimming was great to float around on inner tubes. Would highly reccommend!

Highly Recommend!
This property is beautiful on a lakeside location on the chain of lakes. It was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The house is spacious, we especially enjoyed the rustic style in the living room. Only one TV in the house, could add a couple more TV's to the bedrooms. Eagle River has great stores & restaurants!

We love this beautiful home with the most wonderful views imaginable. Woke up to baby ducklings swimming by with their mommas and Eagles soaring overhead. This was our second stay here and many precious family memories were made. Thank you!

Summer family vacation
Great views of the lake and close to the water! Spacious rooms for our entire family. Kids enjoyed playing in the water and swimming to the raft and nightly bonfires!

Beautiful Lake Home
We had an amazing week staying at this beautiful lake home with our family. The views are stunning, and the home is very clean and comfortable, with of plenty of space and amenities. We caught several small fish off the pier, enjoyed cooking family meals in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen, and relaxed by the bonfire at the water's edge. The location on Cranberry Lake is perfect, and it's also an easy ride to town and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Even though all the festivities were canceled due to the warm weather, we were still able to enjoy the lake and location. We walked to the Marina Bar (closed but talked to the owner) and the Nutty Squirrel. The house itself was very clean and had more then enough beds to accommodate our group.

Spacious living arrangements on a beautiful lake. Lots of amenities. Nice dock and platform. Really enjoyed staying there. The only issue we had was we brought a boat and the driveway really has no place to turn around once you enter. You don’t realize that until you’re already in too far. Overall a nice vacation property

This residence what everything we expected. Great location near the water. Quiet area with privacy. We had a snowmobile trip planned but the trails were closed. The property manager was the first to tell me the trails were closed and gave us great options of fun things to do. She went above and beyond! Would highly recommend!

Breathtaking Property
This is the second time we've stayed at this location and cannot wait to visit again. We absolutely loved the bathroom remodels. The house definitely makes us feel like we at our "home away from home". It is always clean and inviting when we arrive. The kitchen is beautiful and fully stocked. The deer come through by the dozens each day. I would like to try visiting in the Summer with the kids but Winter there has always been beautiful for us there. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Cottage on the Water’s Edge
This was an wonderful cottage for our family to stay for our vacation. My husband and I along with our kids and their families. There was plenty of room for all of us and the cottage was clean and nicely updated. We caught a variety of fish — walleye, crappie and bluegill. Also had some northern and musky action. Lots of fun for the grandkids catching bluegill right off the dock! We also enjoyed swimming and kayaking. A great vacation and nice accommodations. Would recommend this cottage to any family that loves the outdoors like we do!

Million Dollar View
Beautiful home and view. If you don’t mind 36 stairs up and down to the house …this is for you!!! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped (don’t forget to turn the ice maker on). My husband and I had a blast playing FoosBall. Plenty of wildlife to view right out the living room windows. Be sure and pack an iron (just in case). I could stand in the door of the bedroom and see nothing but water….you felt you were ON the water! Well done!

Beautiful views, plenty of space for the family. Dock for your boat. Close to town , but still away enough. Everything you’ll need in a kitchen, comfy furniture. Couple tips, if you bring your own boat , launch it before you go, drive way is longer and turning around with it is a bit of a challenge, manageable, but the boat launch is close by so easier to drop it 1st. Quite a few of stairs from the drive to the house, mentioned in the description but didn’t deter our trip, was good exercise, just mentioning if anyone plans to bring someone with physical limitations. Overall a great stay, went by too quick!

Waterfront!!!!!!
The home was beautiful and had a sprawling view of the water. All bedrooms other than the bunk room faced the water, what a spectacular way to wake up. One unexpected surprise was that the kitchen/ eating area was at one side of the house while the family room / bar area was down a long hall at the other end of the house. The separation came in handy a few times when the kitchen was hopping. The long hallway was very entertaining for the littles. We caught lots of fish, had lots of fun, it was a fabulous week.
