You'll find you have the best of both worlds with this home, as the bunkhouse is wholly separated from the main house to offer you that cozy cabin feel while still having room for larger groups! Visiting chefs will love the open, well-equipped kitchen with updated appliances, including a WiFi-equipped refrigerator and a dual-wall oven. On the main level, you'll find a comfortably furnished living area with a large TV, while downstairs, there's a fun-filled family room with an additional TV lounge, full bar, game/puzzle table, and upright multicade arcade machine.

Outside, the fun really begins with a furnished patio, grassy yard, enclosed gazebo, swing set and playhouse, lakeside firepit, and a large dock for fishing, swimming, or heading out on the lake in the provided canoe. This home is also on an ATV/UTV trail, a snowmobile trail, and a hiking, biking, and skiing trail. Great Family Getaway
While the main living space is a little dark, there are so many other places on this property to hang out and enjoy the scenery and each other. We particularly loved the fire pit. The kitchen is a little small and it definitely needed more hand towels and washrags, but we had plenty of room for everyone. And everyone had a space to escape if they needed. We explored the areas around Eagle River and had great food.

Great place for large groups
Beds were very comfy, plenty of towels and washcloths. Lots of seating in common areas. Very nice dock to tie up our boat.

Gorgeous and Cozy winter retreat.
Our family of 6 and our friend’s family of 7 had a wonderful stay for a week. There is ample space for kids to play, a beautiful and cozy home, all the amenities are provided, and you can’t beat the stunning nature views. The driveway was perfect for sledding. The kids had a blast on the playground right out the front door. The bunkhouse was a hit, as well as the basement with a working old arcade game. The beds are comfortable and there are many ways to organize room assignments so everyone is comfortable. We will be back!

great house and location!
We had a wonderful time in this house! Plenty of beds (all comfortable!). The lake access/deck was perfect, however, the water is shallow in the channel and makes it tricky to park your inboard motor boat. Luckily we figured it out! We were missing ALL THE TOWELS when we arrived and had an issue with a shower handle, but the Vacassa Company responded quickly to resolve the issues. We love Eagle River and all it's glory! Be sure to grab a drink at Marina Bar, a bite to eat at Braywood, pizza at Pirate's Cove and an old fashion at Sweetwat4ers.

Poor service from property management.
The carpeting in the basement was ripped up in the two bedrooms. Both bedrooms had bare concrete floors with exposed carpet tack strips (exposed staples). I notified Vacasa Saturday and nobody knew why. It took 2 days before someone informed me why the carpet was ripped up. I should have been informed before I checked in. There were garbage bags sitting on top of the dumpster that some animal ripped open creating a mess. I notified Vacasa on Saturday of the mess but nobody showed up. I cleaned the mess myself Thursday. On Saturday I notified Vacasa that the ceiling fan in the master bedroom didn’t work. The response I got was “we’ll work on it” but nobody showed up to fix it.

Great till it wasn't
The architecture and placement of this home is amazing for beautiful views. The description is perfect to what is there architecturally. Rooms - beds- amenities etc. What really disappointed me is for $840ish dollars a day it was lacking in a lot! After staying for a day or two....total of 5days, the downstairs bathroom shower doesn't keep water warm consistently so we then had to share the main floor and upstairs shower with 16 people. The TV had specific instructions on how to use the volume or else you wont have volume at all. There were 3 trash bags available, 4 laundry pods and a tiny travel size dish soap available. The basic cleaning supplies to wipe countertops and clean stovetop where spars and hard to find. It bothered me that after spending that much money a day I was still having to purchase things for the house to get through. Paper towels was't enough and TP for the house because I was then nervous there wasn't enough. This is just what I can remember. I feel if it were more like 450ish dollars a day I wouldn't be so nit picky about this but overall will not be spending my money here again. Way too expensive. I regret spending 6k. It just wasn't worth that much.

Nice updated and comfortable home on Eagle River Chain. Dock not conducive for swimming. There was no power to any of the lakefront lights, boat house or power boat lift.

The perfect North Woods getaway!
The foliage is absolutely gorgeous this time of year and we were lucky enough to have sunny fall weather all weekend. There were 6 adults and 6 kids, and the house was absolutely perfect. So much room, everything is beautiful, not a detail missed. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the lake, having fires in the fireplace, and using the big kitchen to cook homemade meals each night. Highly recommend!

The Lonesome Moose Lodge was spacious and clean.
Kitchen was fabulously equipped. Anything we needed for cooking and baking was there. Multiple outdoor “toys”. Canoe, kayak, board, fishing poles. Many outdoor chairs on deck and around the fire pit.

The best rental experience !
We rented this house for all our relatives, 4 families in total. Ages 62 to 5 month plus our furry family member 20 month Rottweiler. It was plenty of space for all of us . House has new and VERY clean appliances , big dinning table , big tv with sound system , 2 fireplaces ,and most importantly, for a big group, 2 refrigerators . The house is perfectly cleaned. Very clean bathrooms and bedding . My dog didn’t even smell any other dogs which was a surprise because house is dog friendly. Location is beautiful!!!! House is right on the lake and has a dock for a fishing and a boat . Boat rental is very close to the house and you can come right on a boat to a Lonesome moose lodge. The Separate bunk house was a fun for our 13 years boys . We had a very good time and will be definitely coming back . Thanks to the property manager and cleaning team for doing a good job !

Great rental
We rented this place with our siblings for my twin sister and my’s 62nd birthday. We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful and well equipped place. We docked our pontoon and the dock had great bumpers. We enjoyed the fire pit. There was plenty of wood. Watched the Packer game, grilled pizzas on the nice big grill. And just hung out. And enjoyed our stay. We all loved this rental and would rent again.
