Great base for Dusseldorf
Hotel is a few tram stops from Dusseldorf HBF, a lot of things are within walking distance. It was clean, fairly modern hotel. The continental breakfast was adequate. Staff were friendly. The pillows were rubbish, but apart from that it was a great hotel

Great venue, close to the centre. Helpful reception staff, relaxed and efficient. The room was good. I enjoyed the breakfasts i ate during my stay and will visit again.

This hotel is just one of few that is not accomodating or welcoming. We arrived at the hotel at 1PM and were told to have to wait until 3PM to check in. I know all hotels have 3PM and 11AM rules, but very few would actually refuse checkin in afternoons. The hotel interiors are sloppy with uneven floors. It is very noisy in late nights, and we are frequently woke up by door shutting noises. Breakfast has cold ham and cheese and hard boided eggs. They charge 12 euros per person, and I didn't see anybody eating there.

My room was small and clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is in a great location. It is walkable to shopping, Old Town, the hop on hop off bus and the train station.
