The hotel has been a favourite for my stays in Dusseldorf. The breakfast service has declined and they no longer cook eggs to order as they did previously. Seems that staffing levels have declined.

Excellent one nighter at the Calant Hotel. Clean room, warm water, discounted parking at the Crown garage and a terrific well looked after breakfast at all that in the heart of Dusseldorf. Great stay!

Very clean, staff welcoming and helpful. Room was basic but sufficient. Only negative was the hairdryer, an asthmatic coughing on my hair would have been more effective in drying my hair.

I stayed in November. The staff are all courteous and friendly. They always seem to implement the best they can. The only disappointment this time was that the oil heater did not work and there were times when it was cold and the internet was not connected. Other than that, the breakfast is very good. I would like to stay there again.

Great Hotel in a perfect location. Everything is walkable. Hotel has a super market attached to it and a large parking garage. Rooms were clean and bed were comfortable. Breakfast buffet also good. I would stay here again.

The hotel is an easy stroll away from the main station. The check in was with a new tablet system and it was having issues that the staff had to constantly deal with. Quicker to have the staff check in normally. Rooms are excellent, clean and well appointed. Only gripe is the doors of other rooms are constantly slamming in the morning, could do with being a soft close system in them.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable rooms. Perfect for a business trip. Not so cozy, hotel is a bit anonymous. Hotel is quiet but doors are slamming in the mornings when guests are heading for breakfast.

A fantastic hotel, great breakfast, walkable to most places of interest and a great room and most comfortable bed and super helpful and nice staff. The only downside was the shower over the quite high bath tub and no anti slip matting. Had a great stay for 4 nights and would most definitely stay here at the carat hotel again if in Düsseldorf

Hotel was decent, clean and safe. Internet was down for 3 days from Nov 25-27, and the staff did not have any solutions. I was relying on fast wifi for work but had to pay expensive data. This was unacceptable for what hotel advertised on their website that “ High-speed WiFi - an important building block in our carathotels service promise.”
