Orchard Cottage has been awarded a Visit England 4* Gold award and Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence and listed as walkers, cyclists and family friendly. It comprises of 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large kitchen/Diner, a large living area, snug and utility. We have space to store bikes securely. It has a large patio and garden area with outdoor furniture and enough parking for 4+ cars. There is an open pond with approximately 2 feet high water in at any time. Included in the price are towels, bed linen, complimentary toiletries. It has a TV, DVD player and DVDs, Playstation 3 and games, wireless speaker, hairdryers in every room. The kitchen offers oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electrical cooking appliances, crockery and cutlery. The utility has a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board and clothes airer. There is patio furniture and a BBQ to use. For families we have a long list of things available including steriliser, baby monitors, travel cots, toys, high chairs etc. (Please ask, I'm sure we have). There is a working wood burner in the lounge and free Wi-Fi. There are many golf courses all within 30 minutes and many spa's locally too. We are close to Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, Birmingham and the Forrest of Dean so lots to do.

Four good sized bedrooms with four well appointed bathrooms. Large kitchen diner which was well equipped and comfortable lounge. Lovely outside space with table and chairs and great views. Six adults and 3 children had a wonderful time together !

Fantastic property, spacious warm and clean everything we needed for a family Christmas getaway, Gemma the owner even went to the lengths of providing a Christmas tree and decorations for the children to decorate it with. A brilliant property and good local pub just down the road. The children even had their own little snug/ lounge, spacious well equipped kitchen and great views.

SPLENDID !
Orchard Cottage is an amazing place to stay. It is situated on the slope of a hill, overlooking the valley of the Severn. The surroundings are an oasis of peace and quiet. The house itself is lovely, with every amenity you could wish for. Very well suited for families or the somewhat larger groups.

Ideal house for 3 generations of family to gather. Clean, comfortable beds and sofas, plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. lovely kitchen and bathrooms, all in a beautiful area. We had many a laugh playing board games provided and making treasured memories.

Good location, fabulous views, quiet, everything we needed for a great family get together to celebrate my husbands 60th Birthday. Pub & good food within walking distance. Gemma was happy to agree to us hiring a private chef for one night - best thing ever!! & no cleaning up after. Very comfortable accommodation & good selection of toys for the little ones. Highly recommend.

Exceeded expectations
My wife and I and another older couple from Virginia spent a week at the Orchard Cottage in early March 2023. The cottage exceeded all our expectations. It was beautiful, beautifully appointed, and had beautiful views of the countryside. The large kitchen/dining area and large den, with a sitting room in the back, the 4 bathrooms -- perfect for 4 introverts looking to spread out! Gemma was very responsive. We loved being remote but within walking distance of the small town of Coaley. The master bath was very high-end and luxurious. We had trouble getting the scheduled heat settings adjusted to our liking, but apart from that, everything went perfectly. I highly recommend the cottage. We hope to return.

Perfect Getaway
Orchard Cottage is the best equipped holiday home I have ever stayed in. Our two year old had a blast with the toy chest and in the garden. Anything we could have thought to need for her was available. The house is also beautiful, with gorgeous scenery, and well located for venturing out to various highlights in the region. I would highly recommend Orchard Cottage. We loved our stay.
