Better than expected
"Rooms were basic but clean and with enough kitchen facilities to do simple self-catering. Just 10 minutes walk from the station and about 15 into the city. Durbach is well situated to visit other small towns in the area. We caught the street festival in Gengenbach, for example. Folks at the shops and restaurants that we visited were all very friendly, despite the fact that we don’t speak much German.
