Pinnacle Place (Eolus #420) | Ski In/Out, Views, Deck, Fireplace - Affordable

Pinnacle Place at Purgatory Ski Resort (Eolus #420) is in the heart of the main plaza with great views and access to everything! Our ski-in ski-out studio is near the Purgatory Village Express Lift (6 pack chair lift), Twighlight Lift, Needles Lift (Chair 6), the Needles Mountains, and Purgatory Village Center. This location makes your vacation as convenient as possible. Take elevator down one floor to the third floor, walk out the door, pop on your boots & skis and you are ready to go! It is a great homebase for your winter or summer adventure!

The kitchen is equipped with a mini fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, crockpot, coffee maker, blender, cooking utensils, pots/pans, dishes etc. A stackable washer/dryer is located in your unit. There is a wood burning fireplace (wood is provided) and free high speed wireless internet. You also get one designated covered parking space - you will never have to clean snow off your vehicle during your stay! The condo has cable TV plus a firestick so you can watch your own streaming channels. There is also a DVD player. The views of the Needles Mountain range from the private balcony are breathtaking!! There are chairs on the deck to take in the mountain views and observe all of the skier activity.

EOLUS AMENITIES: There are 2 hot tubs (year-round) and a swimming pool (summer only) on site at Eolus included in your stay.

RESORT CLUB ACCESS: For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

PURGATORY SKI MOUNTAIN LOCATION: This condo is located at Purgatory Ski Resort in the San Juan Mountains. Purgatory is 25 minutes north of downtown Durango and is known as a family-friendly ski resort. It has 105 trails, including 5 terrain parks, over 1,500 skiable acres and 12 lift. The resort boasts an average annual snowfall of 260 inches. Purgatory Resort offers a variety of activities and amenities that cater to families, including ski lessons, childcare and a variety of restaurants. It is a more affordable option that some of the other ski resorts in Colorado, has a good mix of terrain for all ability levels, and stunning views. If you're looking for a resort that offers something for everyone, staying at this condo at Purgatory is a great option!

SUMMER AT PURGATORY: Purgatory boasts a bike park accessible by chair lift, an alpine slide, mountain coaster, and treasure panning. There are also hiking trails, jeep tours, and watercraft rentals on Twilight Lake. Purgatory hosts various events throughout the summer, such as live music concerts, festivals and bike races.

NO PETS: Due to HOA rules, the condo (and all condos in the building) is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets/emotional support animals.

COOLING: Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

When booking directly with Vacation Rental Collective, we offer a Moderate Cancellation Policy for this Property: A guest will receive a 100% refund if canceled/changed at least 30 days before check-in; a 50% refund if canceled/changed 14-30 days before check-in; and no refund if canceled/changed 13 days or less before check-in. If you booked on a third-party site (VRBO, Airbnb, etc), your cancellation is subject to their policy. We do offer travel insurance.

Wonderful place!

Great Purgatory Location
This was a great location for our family vacation. We really loved being able to walk right down to the main lift from our condo. The condo is clean, and management is so fast to respond to any questions. I recommend paying for access to the main lodge pool / hot tub as they are outside and have great views. My only ask is to put a couple of pillow cases in the closet for use on the pull out sofa bed. We would stay here again!

Perfect Spot for a Couples Ski Trip
You cannot ask for a better location! Location was everything for our stay and the views from the room were icing on the cake. You can’t beat a minute walk/transition from your room to the main lift at Purgatory. Bed was very comfortable. Room had most all of what we needed. The host was exceptionally responsive, courteous, and helpful to my inquiries. Would plan to stay here again for another ski weekend with my spouse.

Comfortable and well-appointed
For 2 people this is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the slopes. Take the elevator down to level 2, walk down one flight of stairs and you are only steps away from the ski lifts. Internet worked great the whole time, the couch and bed were comfortable and the dining table with 4 chairs gave us plenty of room to eat meals while watching the action outside. The included, covered parking space is also very nice to have. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Studio with Ski In/Out Access
My family and I had an amazing weekend up at Purgatory thanks to the convenience of this studio condo. The condo is a short walk to several lifts and Purgatory Village. The included covered parking was a huge plus considering how much it snowed during our stay! The condo was the perfect size for a small family and included everything for us to relax and prepare meals. The views from the private balcony were incredible! Would definitely book again for future ski trips.

Small unit but for a 3 night stay to snowboard it worked perfect. Our kids shared the couch bed so it worked nicely. The code to the door did not work upon arrival, contacted the management and said they were going to come fix it but never did, ended up using the cleaning people's code all weekend.

Not quite what I expected
I recently stayed in this unit. I knew from the photos that the place was somewhat outdated but the ski in ski out was what I wanted and booked the place. Things were ok but the beds were terribly uncomfortable and the TV was out the entire time we were there. When I messaged the rental company I got a text saying the mountains caused interruptions. This was not a case of interruptions. This was a case that f someone needed to call and have them come out and fix it. When I made repeated attempts to contact the management company they ignored me. Also the listing said we could stream Netflix but the tv did not allow us to do this. The listing also said 2 different hot tubs but we were never provided a code to get into the hot tub in our building and had to walk over to the main lodge to swim. I really think the owner of this property probably needs to update the listing and find a new management company. We had a good time but did leave a day early so we could get some sleep in a bed that was comfortable.

We had such an awesome vacation at Purgatory for early Spring Break 2020. This view of the mountain base was exceptional. Truly a ski in, ski out property. We watched kiddos build snowmen, sled, and snowball fight from our balcony and walked to Purgy's restaurant at night for a great meal. This property is well worth the money !!!

Excellent stay
My 9 year old son and I stayed for 4 nights. It was the perfect location. It probably took us less than 5 minutes to leave the condo and be on the ski lift. We will definitely be back next year!
