Once again we were thrilled to be here!
This was our 3rd stay with Philomena and Brian in their perfect, lovely, traditional Irish Cottage! As always, the view and the area is the most beautiful in all of Ireland! The hospitality cannot be outdone, everything you need is already thought of and done for you, ready and waiting! It is hard to leave but, you will return again & again! Thank you both for the dream vacation you have always provided for us!

Nostalgic Return
August 2023. 15years years later the same beautiful place. The first time the family came with my husband. This time to bring his memory to one of his favorite places with family. House meets every need. Close by cafe/art studio. Walks on the strand. I hope it won’t be 25 years till I go back. Thanks to the host family

Beautiful location and lovely host
Our family very much enjoyed our week on the Dingle Peninsula. It was nice to be the kind of tourist that stays in one place instead of trying too see too much. The house was perfect for us and the view was amazing (according to our 2 teenagers).

Bright, comfortable house in a beautiful setting.
Staying at the stone house was the best part of our Ireland trip. The house and setting exceeded expectations, and we were made to feel very welcome. We liked being apart from but close enough to Dingle Town, and enjoyed the nearby village pub and pottery gallery/bakery in Baile an Fheirtearaigh.

Beautiful and cozy
The communication was spot on from what we expected, always responded promptly, the location was just a beautiful spot with the ocean right out the window. I would stay here again and again if the chance to go back comes up. Kids loved having separate rooms and they loved the sheep right out the window. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to stay in the area

Fantastic House with One of the Best Views in Ireland
You cannot go wrong staying here. The house is clean, comfortable and well furnished. Top Notch In Every Way
Philomena and her son, Brian delivered a vacation of a lifetime. 5 star service. The views - spectacular! The home - perfection in its style, size and structure. Great fit for two families/ six guests. Tig Aigne Cafe had warm scones everyday and best scones just a stone's throw away. The colorful town of Dingle just a short jaunt. Great pics and music! This is a must if you want to see Ireland in its full glory.

Fantastic views
We spent 4 nights at the Stone Cottage and it was the best time of our whole trip to Ireland. It was a great home base to explore. We did a lot of hiking right out the front door. The house itself was so cozy and had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. We loved the fireplace. But best of all were the views!! Anyone would lucky to have the Stone House experience!

Excellent! What a view.
This is a great place to stay and enjoy the Dingle area. The views from the house are even better than the pictures on the site. This is so close to the ocean that you can hear the waves at night. We walked to the beach several times and took a long hike along the coast on a trail called the " Dingle Way" one day. The owner Philomena is a great person, very helpful and hospitable and made our stay very comfortable. Thanks for sharing a great place! We hope to return.

Truly a view like no other.
Our family of 5 had an amazing stay at your house! Philomena and Sharon were such warm and kind hosts . The views are breathtaking and with great weather we were able to enjoy our morning coffee outside. In our opinion, there is no better view to wake up to then the one at this house. We are already talking about our next trip back to Ireland. Thank you again for such a wonderful and relaxing stay.

very much at home in Ireland
The sixth time that we stayed here and still we want to come back tomorrow! A beautiful house completely furnished, a beautiful ocean view and very comfortable also in cold or rainy periods, central heating and peat fire. Always a very warm welcome from Phil and Alec and the children. Sheep and horses in the garden, what more do you want!

Where heaven touches earth!
The only thing that could have enhanced our visit to the wondrously beautiful Dingle Peninsula was the magnificent 4 bedroom home in Ballyferriter, Tig Meaig, & the warm welcome & wonderful hospitality provided by Philomena & Sharon. We truly enjoyed our 2 week stay in this terrific home where every need was anticipated & every want provided for. We truly cannot wait to come back again & enjoy the grace of God as provided through this glorious setting & our gracious hosts. Peace & Prayers!

One of My Favorite Rentals Ever
My family (wife, daughter (13) and son (10)) and my in-laws spent a week in this cottage in August, 2011. I have rented a number of properties from VRBO, and this stands out as one of my favorites. The home was even nicer than the pictures suggest -- it is hard to do justice especially to the view from the patio of the property. It sounds corny, but my soul felt at ease. Phil was an incredibly gracious hostess, and I would return to this property in a heartbeat.

Heaven on Earth!!
I was tempted to write a sour review only to keep the place to ourselves, but truth is, we all need to share the beauty and wonderment of God's grace which can be found sitting in living room overlooking Clogher Beach and the three sisters. The hikes are magnificent and Dingle is not too far off! Philomena is the caretaker from heaven. She is also guardian angel of the roads there..sweet talk her and you may get ride to Dingle and Back!!
