Tigh Na Cladach is a beautifully appointed two level holiday home set on the waterfront in the coastal town of Dunoon. Featuring stunning sea views over the Clyde Estuary and beyond this is a wonderful base for families or couples to relax, unwind and enjoy the exceptional views.

An ideal location to explore Cowal Peninsula, the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and further afield.

Interior
With open plan living spaces and sea views to enjoy Tigh Na Cladach is nothing but impressive. Featuring stylish and contemporary living areas with quality furnishings, underfloor heating, a spacious kitchen and a dining area. Spectacular views are featured from the comforts in your living room through the two large patio door windows leading out to a wonderful decking and garden area.

The kitchen is well equipped with a breakfast bar area, complete with two electric ovens/grills, microwave, dishwasher and an American fridge/freezer. The open dining area seats up to 6 guests, perfect for entertaining.

Sleeping up to seven guests Tigh Na Cladach has three double bedrooms, one with additional sofa bed. On the lower level there is one double bedroom with a shared family bathroom. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, the master bedroom spectacular sea views, the back bedroom with sofa bed, both sharing a family bathroom.

Tigh Na Cladach has a wonderful outdoor entertaining area with a a two level terrace and garden area overlooking the sea, complete with outdoor furniture, and a barbecue. A perfect space for an afternoon aperitif, reading and whiling away your afternoons, there is even a hammock to enjoy on sunny days.

Whether enjoying an evening on the terrace or reclining in a comfy sofa, here is an idyllic coastal property for all seasons. Just a short 15 minute walk to Dunoon Town Centre with restaurants, cafes and pubs.

Enjoy sea views along the esplanade just a few yards away, ideal for long walks watching the ever changing views sea views and boats passing by. You may even be lucky to spot a porpoise.

Stay with a view
Excellent quality property; vey comfortable sofas and beds. Well positioned for view of the Clyde in a very peaceful spot. Easy access about 20 mins walk to centre of Dunoon.

We had a wonderful stay at Tigh Na Cladach. The three bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the views and location were spectacular. A short walk into the town of Dunoon was easy along a beautiful coastal trail. Multiple different day trips from this location were also possible. Great vacation spot!

Lovely place to stay
We had a very pleasant stay. The house was very comfortable and warm and very well equipped. Stunning views. Everything was really clean. The only criticism is that the cleaner seems to miss the top of the bed in the master bedroom as the bedframe was rather dusty there. Would return if ever in that area again.

Nice place, shame about the beds!
Decent stay, in a nice location. Unfortunately the quality and comfort of the mattresses was so poor that none of us had a good sleep. The trouble with this type of issue is that it colours ones judgement about the whole place. Politely suggest that the house needs a very good clean.

Great short break
The house was adequate for our party of 6 adults. There could be another proper seat in the lounge to cater for 6 people sitting comfortably. Also the table only sat 4 with 4 chairs so we had to use bedroom stools and adapt the spare table at mealtimes. It didn’t spoil our enjoyment though. All in all we had a lovely stay. Thank you 😊

When we arrived at the property we were very disappointed with the state of the outside. In desperate need of cleaning and painting.However the inside was very clean, it had everything we could have wanted. Views were wonderful. Just disappointed with the general area of the outside and neighbouring houses.

Wonderful, peaceful retreat with stunning views
We know Dunoon well and were looking for somewhere to stay as a base for our holiday. This turned out to be the perfect location, so good we've already booked to go back. We were stunned by the house location as well as the house itself. It's designed to German passivhaus standards and we were seriously impressed with how warm and insulated it was ... despite the weather turning cooler the house stayed a comfortable temperature and we didn't hear any noise at all from the adjoining house. The open plan kitchen living area is well designed with a great layout, and the kitchen has everything you could need, it's the only place we've ever stayed that's felt like a home from home. Upstairs the layout is also roomy with well equipped bathrooms (upstairs and downstairs). The beds, pillows and bedding were incredibly comfortable and the towels smelled like home laundered washing. Having an enormous fridge freezer (with ice maker), double ovens, washing machine and dishwasher etc plus the provision of tea towels, washing up liquid and kitchen roll, salt and pepper etc really made it a breeze. I'd really recommend this place if you have someone in your party who can't easily get up and downstairs as everything you need is on the ground floor. The host provided extensive information pre booking and for during the stay and when we had a query he got back to us promptly and sorted it out. Needless to say we didn't want to leave so we've booked again!

Excellent property
Holiday with my sister, elderly mother and two dogs. Property was spotless and extremely well equipped. Views and garden area were lovely. Downstairs bedroom and shower room were perfect my mother who relies on a walking frame. Garden was fully enclosed and safe for my two cockapoos.

Nice Enough House
First impression was great, beautiful view from patio doors, looked well equipped and comfortable. Not convinced seven could stay comfortably- dining table seated four and additional fold down table provided but only two extra fold down chairs found in a cupboard. Living room area could seat 5 with floor cushions providing the other two seats. Busy main road proved to be quite noisy, even with doors closed. House was a good 15 minute walk along main road to Dunoon. Paint work tired and patchy and lots of cobwebs on the high ceilings. Being charged for broken bed slat, which was broken on our arrival - make sure you advise of any issues immediately. No cleaning clothes or oven gloves provided and had to buy a light bulb as no spares found.

Problems
There was a problem in the kitchen with electrical switch covers falling off. We also couldn't get the hob to work so we had to use a heating ring. Otherwise we had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

Perfect accommodation for a daily get together
We hired Tigh Na Cladach for a family get together to celebrate my mums 60th birthday. The house was perfect, lots of space and in a idilic setting. The kitchen dinner was a perfect spacious yet sociable area for spending time together. The house was very clean and had lovely modern touches. We will definitely be booking again.

A well equipped holiday let with breathtaking sea views.
Tigh Na Claddoch is a beautiful appointed property in a picturesque and tranquil setting. Loved the open plan dining, kitchen, lounge area which was perfect for socialising. Plenty of space and high ceilings. All of the information about the home was sent prior to our visit which made things easier. There is a wood at the back of the property perfect for taking the dog for a 10/15 min walk. There are quite alot of steps to get to the top but we'll worth it. A welcome pack would have been an extra bonus.

Fantastic holiday home

Beautiful and superb accomodation
The location of this house is brilliant, the views were breath-taking. It was easy to find, not far from Dunoon and the ferry port. The house is gorgeous, it had everything that we would ever need for cooking/washing/entertainment. I was given loads of info about how everything worked and nearby shops, etc, and we received a lovely welcome pack from the owner, as well as travel info on the day of arrival. I would definately like to stay here again in the future.

Arrived and the house to lovely welcome gifts, we needed the sofa bed set up and with a simple email within 30mins the bed was up and made interaction with the hosts was 5* the information pack was helpful and the house was well stocked up with kitchen equipment. Would love to come back and try Dunoon in the summer!

Great location for a holiday.
The house and location were great. The view is amazing. The accommodation is well equipped and spacious. The disappointment was the overgrown garden. The bushes had overgrown the path and the hedges needed clipped. Spoiled the view. Not like the photo. Otherwise an ideal base.

The view from this house will live with me forever!
This is a great house for a family holiday. It's well equipped and comfortably furnished and mum enjoyed having a ground floor bedroom and shower. We chose this house for that reason and for the amazing views and those views did not disappoint. The light on the water changes constantly and the living room and terrace were ideal places to observe this ever changing spectacle. We had a bit of an issue with window mechanisms but the property manager was very quick to respond to our query. The house felt covid safe and smelled nice and fresh. Liquid handsoap was available in both bathrooms and in the kitchen and hand sanitiser was also provided along with antibacterial washing up liquid. We'd recommend this property and hope to visit again some day.
