Glen Oirig is a perfect position to enjoy walks along the esplanade, soak up the sea views, watch seals and porpoise play, or simply watch the ferries and boats pass by. The town centre of Dunoon is only minutes away by car offering a selection of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants, a leisure centre and a small cinema.
Close by is the historic Kilmun Mausoleum, Benmore Botanic Gardens, Pucks Glen and Argyll Forest Park. The area is one big outdoor playground for walking, hiking and cycling.
Explore further afield to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and Argyll's Secret Coast, or take the ferry to the Isle of Bute to visit Mount Stuart, or visit historic Inveraray. It's also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland. The region is filled with places to see and things to do.
