Excellent stay at this fantastic lodge
Just returned from a relaxing break at this beautiful lodge. Decorated to a high standard and immaculately clean. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we will be back.

Fantastic lodge with beautiful views
We had a family break here for 3 nights and it was perfect from start to end. The lodge was well equipped, immaculate and so comfortable. We have been going to Hunters Quay for over 20 years now and have stayed in various lodges, all great but this beats them all. The view just topped it for us, just beautiful.
We will most definitely be returning time and time again.

Beautiful Stay
Absolutely loved our stay here. Could not fault it any way. Lodge was spotless and very comfortable and was well equipped with everything you needed.
Excellent location with lots of stunning scenery and walks on your doorstep. Beautiful views across Holy Loch with an array of wildlife giving us a visit.
Can’t wait for our next visit, well worth the long drive up from Cardiff.

Short break at Dolphin Run
We had a fantastic few days at Dolphin Run lodge, It was easy to find and in a perfect location with stunning views out over the Loch. Inside and outside it was finished to a very high standard, with lots of interesting and homely touches that really made you feel comfortable and relaxed.
We would definitely return to this lodge as it offered everything we needed for a relaxing and peaceful break.

Wonderful accomodation!
Dolphin Run was a wonderful accomodation for us, and we were very impressed with the cabin. Everything was clean and in tip-top shape. The door lock does need to be adjusted as it was VERY difficult to lock it from either side (you have to life the door and handle while turning the key or it won't latch). Other than that one issue, everything was perfect!

Fabulous, relaxing break in a special lodge.
Enjoyed our first, but hopefully not last, holiday at Dolphins Run.
Beautiful lodge, really well equipped, dog friendly and in a lovely spot in Hunters Quay holiday Village.
We were unsure what it would be like but the Village is beautifully kept with great facilities.
We'll definitely be back.

Idyllic getaway at Dolphin Run
I booked my holiday accommodation through Argyll self catering holidays and the booking process was very good as well as the communications regarding my booking.
The cabin's location is really nice and peaceful with enough privacy and close enough to the town of Dunoon.
The surrounding area is great with lots to do.
The cabin was very nice and comfortable with everything one needs and more as well as modern and spotless.
I loved the patio area which is very generous in size so you don't feel squashed and has a very nice view.
I would highly recommend Dolphin Run.

Quality modern fresh lodge in quiet area of Holiday park with view of the loch
We were very pleased with our stay in the Dolphin Run, it is at the farthest end of the park so nice and quiet but still only at 15 min walk (with young kids) to the facilities and a private road for entry with car. It has been recently refurbished, comfy beds and sofa. Only thing missing was a toaster but friends had one in neighbouring lodge!

October break in Dolphin Run
We had a fabulous break in Dolphin Run. The chalet was well equipped, stylishly decorated and furnished, and immaculately presented. The sofas and beds were very comfortable. We were fortunate with the weather (bright, sunny and dry) and we enjoyed admiring the lovely view and autumn colours from the outside decking area. Despite the evening/ nights being cold we were very warm and cosy in the chalet. Dolphin Run provided us with a great base to explore the surrounding area. We felt reassured knowing that the chalet had been fogged prior to our arrival. We plan to revisit another time soon.

Our view overall.
The bedroom furniture is massively oversized for the small bedrooms leaving no room to manoeuvre round the beds. Beds were very comfortable. For four adults we were only provided with one hand towel. In the current climate feel this was not enough and would have been happy to bring own if notified. A toaster in the kitchen area would be beneficial as would a teapot. We were not allowed to buy a pass for the barriers and therefore had to negotiate a very very bad road covered in potholes each time we took the car out. A bit disappointed overall.

Tidy accommodation
The lodge is clean and well kept. The decor is nice with a sufficient kitchen for self catering needs. 2 double beds. A lovely balcony wrapped round the lodge.

We didn't want to go home!
We stayed at Dolphin Run during the tail end of Storm Dennis. The weather was wet and windy and te ground sodden. We quickly took some photographs during brief periods of sunshine. Despite these facts, we felt completely content with the views of the Clyde and the hills beyond from the lovely full length windows in our cozy holiday "home". We read books, cooked, watched films on our i-Pads, talked, rested and walked our two small dogs who, needless to say, didn't fancy braving the elements for longer than necessary. As my husband (born in Greenock) and I (with Highland ancestry) both feel so "at home" in Scotland, we did not want to leave and are now busy exploring opportunities to make a lovely Scottish lodge our permanent retirement abode. The only downside was the eyesore of a ruined church, I think (from the window shapes) next to the cottage. This is a blot on the landscape (it is not a charming historic ruin) and i wonder why the owners of the land have not torn it down to develop the land into plots for further lodges. However, Dolphin Run is so charming, so warm and comfortable and beautifully decorated that this does not really detract from one's enjoyment.
