"Located literally in the middle of route 101 which split into two one way streets so easy in and out for transportation. There is an elevator which is unusual for a two floor motel. The staff loaned us a broom to brush off the snow from the cars. The room was very clean with plenty of toiletries. ..."

"Came for work, my sister came to do some hiking/exploring, and we volunteered at the Crabfest. Very quiet neighborhood near hurricane ridge and Port Angeles. Comfortable beds, clean! Had question about heater and owner was very responsive and helpful."

A gang of Sanderlings heading out towards the water to pluck tasty treats. I chased this group down the spit on the way back from the lighthouse for about a half-mile. Chase is kind of a misnomer here. I was taking some big strides to finish the walk before the park closed at sunset, and they just happened to go along for the ride.
