Parents xmas present

We had a lovely 2 night stay which we bought for our elderly parents xmas. The lodge is in a great spot with stunning views over the countryside. It was spotless clean and had everything needed for a nice self catering break. Comfy beds ensured a good nights sleep. Would highly recommended and will look to book again. Thankyou

Bonfire weekend

Exactly what we were looking for to save our dogs the stress of fireworks going off. Beautiful secluded place and best of all were the views. We could watch the fireworks going off in the distance but couldn't hear a thi g. Looking forward to going back

Spanish water dog meeting

By pictures on the website it looks as if there's no one else close by ,the owner lived in the next cottage plus another one for rent .she also ran her business of boarding dogs and cats ,this did not suit us as we wanted a secluded cottage which is safe for our swd,to play in the garden, again if you don't want your dogs on a long line each time they go out this is not the place for you. Out side decking was slippery, (yes there's a sign). but not safe to walk on in the dark as there is no out side lights.this cottage was not suitable for our needs, but I'm sure some people will love it.

Lovely cottage and immaculately clean.

Lovely cottage and immaculately clean. Setting was beautiful with lovely views, surrounded by woodland (exceptionally beautiful in autumn) and lots of wildlife. More spacious than expected and very well equipped. Had a great week. Will definitely return! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Fantastic place to stay.

Fantastic place to stay. I would say its more a lodge than a cottage. The view is fantastic, the grounds are beautiful and great for going walks. We will definitely be back. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a lovely, relaxing week. The weather wasn’t great but we enjoyed the cottage, especially the wood burner and walking in the woods with Murphy, our spaniel. Lovely location and would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely time.

We had a lovely time. It was our first holiday away with our puppy Holly and she loved it. There was much to do both locally walking, but also a short drive away. We particularly enjoyed Sr.Andrews and visiting Loch Lomond. Would love to come back
