"The property was exactly as described. Kitchen very well equipped. Plenty of sleeping space and indoor activities - games, books, video games, ping pong, pool table. Great view, trail and walking distance to the lake.Check in and check out very organized and communication with owners is fast. Hot tub was clean and well maintained."

"We chose Erica's property for several reasons; a main one is that it allowed us to bring our two cats to stay with us, for which we're very grateful! The setting is even nicer than you can tell from the pictures: the driveway is off a quiet country road, and the property has trees and some wetland on each side, separating it from the neighbors. The furniture is comfortable and in good condition. The woodstove helped the living room feel extra cozy when it was cold and rainy out, and the grill worked well. We would have loved to use the very nice looking firepit and sit in the comfy Adirondack chairs on the dock, but the rain lasted all week. Not the owners' fault! The kitchen is very well supplied. Although the cottage has no wifi, we were able to get all of the data we needed to email, read the paper, and play games on our phones. We were concerned when we learned that the cottage has no drinking water, but it wasn't a problem at all. The water is fine for cooking, showers, washing, etc. For drinking, we used a 10-liter jug (purchased locally -- easy to get) with the cottage-supplied pump on top--just like getting water from the fridge at home. The nearest town has a small general store and a hiking trail in the woods. The nearest big town, with supermarkets and restaurants, is a half hour away. There's a trail along the sound, and Algonquin Park is about an hour away. Erica was very responsive and helpful in all communication. We would stay there again."

"The amazing location of this.cottage and it's steps away from a beautiful lake are just a very few things to fall in love with this location. But I could keep on going all gaga about this place that comes with abundance of entertainment for kids , ready BBQ and wood for a bonfire and a very cosy atmosphere. But what takes the cake is the kindness and friendliness of the property owner and his always accessible nature when you need anything.. Surely spreading this cottage to my known people and will be back again to this very memorable location ."

"Where to start? The hosts are amazing. They have thought of everything, for when you haven't. The cottage is lovely. Plenty of space and amenities. The property is awesome. It has such a secluded feel. Views are wonderful both day and night with unreal star gazing. Fishing was excellent right off the dock. The nearby communities are fun to visit and explore. A very enjoyable cottage destination. "

"Liz is a wonderful host, very consistent in communication. The vrbo property is a bit out of cellular range, and the cottage doesn’t have wifi so very good to truly disconnect from the electronic world. We caught fish everyday, enjoyed some bbq and were able to enjoy our long weekend away thoroughly. The neighbours both have dogs, and the one dog was friendly enough to come over and say hello to our pup! Just a heads up if you have a dog who isn’t good with other dogs to be aware that you may have a visitor! The overall property is beautiful and very secluded, the only dock on the lake for a mile either way, and star night skies that take your breath away! "A nice and open lake view on the south side. Six apartments with long and wide patio at back. Spacious parking in front. One bedroom and one living room with sofa bed. Rental Canoe and boat available. Firewood and fire pit. Caught one fish on dock. Clean lake and warm water in August. Overall a nice 3 days stay."
