"Cant fault place from start to finish only stayed one night as was on the NC500 then onto Skye next day wish I booked two nights minimum First off hats off to housekeeping spotless immaculate perfect great job, next Julie she was an angel and last but not least lady on breakfast where do I start do they do Michelin starts for fry ups as they should do was perfect Thanks all will be back"

"This large property is located in the heart of some amazing coastal sea paddling in Caithness. Massive sea cliffs, caves, arches, and sea birds just go on and on. This property allowed us to be all together, plenty of room for cooking, eating together and sleeping. Great views for after paddling cheer."

"The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Their attention to detail was highly appreciated. There was a nice fire in the fireplace. The room and bathroom were clean. And dinner, the Balmoral Chicken, was delicious. The best I’ve had in Scotland. Veggies cooked to perfection as well. Highly recommended."

"Quite an unusual experience for me, eating dinner with the owners, chef and others guests, then relaxing in the sitting room as opposed to spending the evening sat on my bed like a usual B&B. It really made it an enjoyable stay. Everyone was lovely, food was delicious."

"This is one of those special places that is worth the trek. Once you step foot into the front door it feels as if you’ve stepped back into a different time. The finishes are all rich and appropriate and the town itself is adorable. Service is outstanding, bed was delicious and would go out of my way to stay here again!! True luxe on a small scale! A bit difficult to find which bldg to check in so ask for clear directions prior to check in. "
