"Beautiful, clean and spacious property with lovely views of the sea, a private beach, large garden etc. we didn’t use the pool or sauna but they were there. Would have preferred a bigger oven, it’s a microwave/ oven combo, but we managed alright. A lovely spot."

Wonderful views with big windows out and we swam from the back garden at high tide! Kitty was extremely helpful organising a bbq for us and very welcoming. "Couldn’t ask for a lovelier view and a more picturesque, peaceful location. Waking up to the loch view each morning is very special. Unless you are very hardy bring a wetsuit and have a daily swim it’s marvellous. (August - September was)"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Rusheens, a lovely cottage with privacy and comfort in a most beautiful setting. Dara and Markus were warm and informative hosts, just the best. The town of Kenmare was a sweet surprise, with some great places to eat and see, among them Reenagross Park. Kenmare afforded us access to 3 peninsulas as well as Killarney National Park and many other sights. "We had a lovely stay at Pallas Lodge, the house was amazing, with the best view ever! Pat and Kay met us on day one, showed us around the house and then gave us some ideas of where to visit on the Beara Peninsula. There was food and milk in the fridge for us for breakfast the next morning also! If you want a quiet undisturbed holiday on the wild Atlantic coast you can not go wrong here! A beautiful place, and a fabulous house to stay in! "

"The cottage is in an ideal location, just a 10 minute walk to the village. The view is gorgeous. The cottage has everything you need. The patio looking out to harbor is ideal for entertaining guests. Would highly recommend."

"If you are looking for a rustic experience with a coastal million dollar view this is the place for you. Would not recommend for people leary of driving on a long, winding, narrow country road or those with certain disabilities as stone steps are steep going up to property. Martin was a friendly host and you even get to feed the chickens near the property."
