"Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Suggestions for dinner were perfect. Breakfast, 9.5 euros, was outstanding. A large buffet of fresh choices. Excellent coffee. The hotel is an easy walk to the Château, the river, shops, and dining. Nearby local restaurants were excellent and reasonably priced. We will be back. Highly recommended. "

"A very pleasant hotel run by friendly staff. It is conveniently located across the road from Bourges railway station and about 10-15 minutes walk up to the pretty historic centre. The room is spacious, except for a very small bathroom. Definitely a reasonable base for a visit to this lovely French city. "

"Horrendous 2 hour sleep. Room stank of cigarette smoke on arrival via the air conditioning system. It smelled damp and of cigarettes due to the cold air pumped from elsewhere in the building. Sink didn’t drain. Hair came UP out of the plug when you ran the tap water. Trains and noise from station broadcasts carried directly to the room as no protection from it. "Very clean but room by road noisy. Fantasy forest to walk dog, however when checked in asked for 5 e extra each pet, cat and dog making 10e already expensive for a budget et lol. Television suddenly came on and there was no remote, reported in morning who said there should have been one! Food places in fridge. Friendly staff easy check in "

"I stayed here for 4 nights and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. The room was basic but served it's purpose. Where the hotel really excelled was with it's abundant French breakfast of Juice,Croissant, jam, butter, bread and hot drinks. More than enough to prepare you for the day. The dinners were amazing. Served with courtesy and plentiful. Also a nice daily variation. I would certainly reccomend this place if you are looking for something simple yet good value for money."
