The main level features a king bed with convenient access to both bathrooms, while upstairs, two queen bedrooms offer a peaceful retreat with knotty pine walls and vaulted ceilings, creating a cozy Northwoods vibe. Each bedroom is furnished with premium linens and ample storage for a comfortable stay. The bathrooms include soft towels, luxury toiletries, and all the essentials to help you unwind in style.

PET- FRIENDLY
We adore well-behaved pups! Housebroken and furniture-free stays ensure comfort for all. Bowls, towels, doggy bags and even blankets are on us! Cozy bedding provided, but bring your pup's crate for alone time. There is a $125 pet fee, one dog allowed per stay. Let us know if your furry friend is joining for pre-arrangements. We can't wait to welcome both of you!

BRIDGE SCHEDULE
Please allow yourself extra time to get around if venturing off Park Point and into Canal Park as you may get “bridged”. The Aerial Lift Bridge goes up every half hour on the hour from Memorial Day to Labor Day, it also goes up when ships enter or exit the port. You can download the free MarineTraffic app or go to HarborLookout to find ship location & schedule.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to the entire home, beach, dock. Basement, garages, and sheds are off limits. The driveway provides 3 private parking spots and free street parking. Be sure to read the signs for alternate side parking.

Guests may enjoy full privacy or interact with the owners (Steve & Mia) next door. Steve is a third generation Park Pointer and is full of historical data and folklore. Just a message, a phone call, or a wave away!

Lafayette Park & Beach - Across the Street
Take advantage of the 7 mile beach/playground/tennis & basketball courts across the street! Grab the beach chairs, umbrella, towels, beach bag, and picnic basket from the cottage and make it a day!

Park Point Beach & Beach House - 2 miles
A couple miles down the point from the cottage you’ll find a large recreation area and beach with a lifeguard on duty during the summer season, Park Point Beach House, playground, sand volleyball courts, a pavilion with grills, and a small airport.

Minnesota Point Walking Trail - 2.4 miles
At the airport, the secluded Minnesota Point Walking Trail begins and runs parallel to the lone runway. The trail then meanders all the way to the tip of the peninsula, passing 200 year-old red and white pines along the way. You can take the same trail back or do what we like to do and take the beach route. The question is....do you choose the bay or the lake side?!

SNOW REMOVAL
It snows here. It's very unpredictable but we do have snow removal that will be triggered with a 2" minimum. Please allow up to 12 hours after a snowfall to get out and plow/shovel as necessary.

Bayview Cottage is great!
Labor Day weekend on Park Point. Loved the cottage, perfect for us. Right on the harbor, fantastic kitchen and baths, nice bed and mattress, easy to Canal Park and all of Duluth. Highly recommend this place. We will be back!!

The property was as described and perfect for the whole family. The outdoor space and amenities were absolutely amazing. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook family meals. We’ll definitely be back the next time we plan a trip to Duluth.

College roommate weekend
4 of us rented Bayview Cottage for our annual weekend. It was a cold and rainy drive from Minneapolis and we were delighted to walk in and find the fireplace on--we immediately felt at home. This is a gem of a house with visual delights in every room. Mia and Steve have anticipated every want and need and provided it! We are already planning our return.

Great vibes at a great lake house
My friends and I had such a great stay at this charming lake house, just steps from the water and a short car ride to restaurants and shops. We loved the whole vibe of the lake house, the big kitchen, the deck, beach, and lawn, and the private dock. It was also great to be right across the road from a great path to the beach, and we also loved kayaking! The hosts were the best ever too. I highly recommend this charming spot... great vibes!

Amazing stay in Duluth
Steve and Mia are amazing hosts with a lovely cottage right on the water. They’ve thought of everything and have stocked all the amenities. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The cottage is lovely and one could sit for hours and watch the bay. And they are very responsive but never intrusive. We look forward to staying again as often as we can!

Girls Weekend
The Bayview Cottage on Lake Superior was the perfect place to celebrate girls weekend! From the well stocked kitchen to all the amenities, and large dinning room table to gather around and play games while enjoying great food , drinks, and lively conversation. Mia & Steve thought of everything and the environment and decor created a beach/Lake atmosphere. Agree, the spectacular sunsets did not disappoint!!!

Simply Fabulous
This was the first time to Duluth and this property was so charming. From the beautiful landscape to the great view of the lake, Mia and Steve have created a gem. We could not have asked for a better location and more hospitable hosts. Mia's talent for decorating and Steve's creativity with the drift wood and photography, made this a wonderful place for all 7 of us adults to relax and enjoy Duluth!

Thanks for a great stay! Your home is so cute! We loved the marine radio and got to see a ship come in. The kitchen is soooooooo well appointed! Everything is there including coffee, tea and snacks! Thanks for coming over to help with the TV! We are technically challenged!

A perfect stay.
Beautiful cottage and property! The location was amazing for my family. The park across the street. The 7 mile beach access right across the street as well. PLUS the little beach on the property. And all the beach toys available for adults and children. My kiddos had such a wonderful time. Everything is really thought out well with pretty much every amenity available. I will highly recommend this property to anyone, and have done so already. A big thank you to the owners for a great stay, and a very memorable Fathers Day getaway!

Fantastic Hideaway
What a gem! The home has its own private area facing the harbor. Wonderfully decorated, and the kitchen very well stocked. There is plenty of space to relax and the atmosphere is very calming. Love this place! We had a minor accident, the host was very gracious and assured us it was no big deal. The host was excellent with communication and very helpful. (Thank you so much). This place is something really special!
