This 1-bathroom vacation rental studio is part of our home and overlooks the pasture, so you can watch the horses while enjoying your coffee on the private deck. Great location
My husband and I stayed over the new year at this location. Very nice couple that answered any questions we had. Clean place to stay with everything you would need. The snacks and coffee were an added bonus!

Great memory of our stay
My now fiance and I absolutely loved our host and the studio that we stayed in minus the bed. The mattress felt very worn out and left us with aches and pains in the morning but other than that we loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

Ron was very welcoming when we arrived a bit earlier than listed! A/C, bathroom and sleeping accomodations were great. It's a close drive to Duluth so I recommend this listing if you're interested in staying in a more quiet area but want quick access to the cities or the trails!

The perfect place with the perfect hosts
This rental is one of the best that we have stayed at, and we have stayed at many. The location was peaceful, the apartment was beautiful, and Ron & Deb were wonderful hosts. Included with the apartment were so many perks, including coffee, snacks, and a view with horses. We would return again for sure and would recommend this VRBO with 5+ stars.

Very nice experience. We were looking for peace and quiet while still being close to the urban areas and skiing. This worked out perfectly for us. The sauna and the horses were extra bonuses. Will highly recommend.

An Inspiring Beauty
This property was breath taking. It is remote and privately located down a gravel road. The residence was pristine and the grounds had a 360 degree view reminiscent of a Van Gough painting. I highly recommend this property especially if you want a break from crowds and desire a quiet one of a kind rural experience.

True Gem!
The unit is absolutely lovely and more charming and beautiful than pictured. It is 15 minutes away from the towns of Duluth, Cloquet, and Carlton so you have to drive a bit but definitely worth it. Complimentary coffee and snacks were an unexpected surprise! 2 thumbs up!

Great Experience!
We really enjoyed our stay! From the welcome cookies, snacks, coffee and cozy interior - we felt right at home! Our kids loved the play set and watching for the horses every morning. It was the perfect serene setting we were looking for - we saw deer and rabbits in the mornings! We were also close enough to Duluth to pop in for the day. The apartment was clean and well equipped with bedding, blankets, sleeping bags and kitchen items. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful, peaceful property. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Separate climate control in the living and bedroom areas. Sauna was great. Horses weren't out when we woke up in the morning and didn't get a reply about if they were around, they were out later though and the rest of the trip. . Snacks and drinks available.

Quiet Stay Outside of Duluth
This is the perfect place for anyone wanting to visit Duluth during the day and have a quiet, beautiful place to enjoy in the evening. The hosts were very welcoming and kind. They add a personal touch to your stay by greeting you, helping as needed, and providing treats and cookies! It was a wonderful place to stay.

AMAZING
Such a perfect location. Beautiful views, the sauna was so relaxing. We enjoyed a nice fire and a lovely walk on a trail also located around the property. We were able to enjoy a morning coffee on a private deck with a beautiful sunrise and views of the horses. The place was very clean. We were welcomed with cookies and completely snacks. They also had coffee, tea and a soda stream. Sure does beat a hotel! We will definitely be back! The owners were so nice, they definitely go the extra mile. Don’t hesitate and book this place !!

Spotted Horse Suite Great Spot
Spotted Horse Suite was a great find while in Duluth for an inline skating event this fall. My inner horse lover not only got to enjoy viewing the gorgeous horses galavanting in the pasture but also got to meet them up close and personal in the barn, thanks to their engaging and interesting humans Deb and Ron. The apartment is private, spacious, and lovely with open views to pastoral setting. Looking forward to more Duluth visits at this soulful spot!
