There is a braai in the unit (ie in the bedroom) that makes the room reek of smoke. Even opening all the windows didn’t help. Bedding was clean and comfortable but it is down feathers, which is not good for travelers with allergies to that and the smoke. The unit is central which is nice but it is extremely basic and overpriced

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service
No Electricity from the time we arrived to leaving. No water on arrival but fortunately water for a shower in the morning.
Place mats were disgusting dirty
Maintenance needed overall
Kitchen equipment was dirty
Not enough glasses, cups, plates, bowls, etc.
No oven mitts or breadknife
Not enough cutlery of all sorts
Not enough warm water
Overall a very poor experience as this establishment is not up to standard!
Ok for a one night stopover. Room a bit basic, couple of lights not working, exposed wiring, very basic front door lock (like an internal door) which is unusual.
Lovely place however I would suggest a carpet in the lounge area in front of the fireplace, tile floors are very cold and that would make it more cozy. Blinds in front of windows instead of the tired old curtians and a blind on the entry door.

Disliked: Room comfort
We visited Dullstroom in the winter (July) when the night temperatures fall into the thirties. The rooms are not insulated and there was no HEAT. The rooms were as cold inside as it was outside. The television is wall mounted and located in a manner that guarantees being hit in the head when you go past it (due to the position of the furniture in the room). The rooms may be fine in the summer, but our group of 5 (two rooms) were very uncomfortable during our stay.
Great place! Great value for money. The bed linen was great quality and extremely confortable. The shower was very big. Everything you would expect and more from a self-catering accommodation. The hosts were helpful and provided all the information required beforehand.
Owners thoughtfully prepared and decorated hotel. Beautiful ambiance,Small irritations- heater in the room and electric blanket not working,Quite cold. Toitlet leaking. Attention to maintenance please. Overall very pleasing experience
if you book last min and do not have wifi because you are driving then its a problem as they sent me an email stateing where to collect the keys etc at the property the caretaker did not speak english so took over an hour to find out how to collect the keys and where from had i have booked earlier i would have known where to go so its partly my fault i suppose,
clean nice place but because it was self catering no shower gell or shampoo only 1 small bar of soap
Location was good and the area was quiet. The gardens outside was beautiful and well kept. Unit was well furnished and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was really small and a disappointment in comparison to the rest of the unit but everything worked and it was clean with lovely towels.
Excellent bedding, beautiful apartment with granite countertops, lots of space nice wood cottage feel. The wifi was out (they did get a stron MTN data signal though) and I could not get the geyser-hot water heater to work! I informed management so it should be corrected. Nice little town great place to revive for a couple days post flit pre Kruger. It was a bit difficult at night to find as I was unit 9 and all signage was for units 1-5 only 9 was next to 5!
Enjoyed the stay thoroughly. Lovely rooms. The fridge was a bit small as it was christmast and more food and drinks than usually.
